I have been a long time customer and was celebrating my 70th birthday. My wife had booked in advance. Came 9pm, I was wanting a desert, and the owner/manager came and said we did not have the table anymore stating it had to be freed and that he had mentioned that in the reservation confirmation, which was not the case in the email received by my wife. Needless to say I was extremely upset as the owner did not budge to keep us at the table despite my birthday until we could order a desert. I paid the bill without leaving a tip and mentioned to the owner/manager that he was greedy thinking only of maximising his turn over and not caring about his long time customers. Not acceptable at all!

Always a pleasure to eat here! The menu of the day is excellent value and we always keep an eye out to see what it will be as we head into town in the morning. The soup is the best we have had and the steaks are delicious. The service is always very friendly and the terrace is a nice place to eat.

Hugely enjoyable family meal. Very friendly and efficient service. Loup de mer was delicious, one of the best I’ve had. If you have room for desert, the cafe gourmand is the way to complete your meal, maybe with a partner if you’re a little full. Consistently one of the best restaurants in Crans-Montana in my opinion. We’ve never had a bad meal here.
