Great neighborhood Irish/Boston bar. The staff were amazing and made us feel like family. Our waitress reminded me of my own mother (just a whole lot nicer lol). The suggestion she gave was pizza and one with honey mustard… I only did it because she said there was a cult following on it .. I’m so glad I did. It was amazing! The environment was perfect for our maiden voyage into Boston. We stumbled across this pub by accident and I’m glad we did.

Ordered delivery for my family’s first time Darcy’s experience today and just a shocking disappointment. Their excuse for a “Pub Burger” was little more than a McD’s-sized patty with lines drawn on it sanwiched between a full half pound of bread. The Turkey Club was CLEARLY prepared ahead this morning and refrigerated because it was ice cold and the stale toasted bread fell apart the second you bit into it…like the way dried out, toasted 6hrs ago bread does…oh yeah, no mayo. Darcy’s sucks.

I’ve been going to Darcy’s for years. Haven’t been for awhile and I’m so disappointed. Got two Irish paninis and a salad with buffalo chicken. The meat on the sandwiches tasted weird, no cheese, no horseradish sauce. The salad looked like it had been sitting around for days, the buffalo chicken was cut up in tiny chunks and hot sauce poured over them. This was takeout.
Threw everything away. The service was great

Great service, local spot. Have been coming here for years. Cash-only for the bar (food accepts credit cards). They pour a great Guinness!

Maybe this place is better as a local watering hole, but the food/“pub fare” was awful and the service was not much better. The nachos were a joke and missing some items, the shepards pie was also missing key ingredients and resembling an overpriced plate of cat food. Our waitress was pretty much invisible and inattentive, seemed flustered even though it was not that busy. We also overheard one of the waitresses in the back chatting/complaining to a coworker and mocking one of her customers requests for a fresh hot coffee, and this was because the customer was waiting so long for the waitress to reappear and provide some cream and sugar. That was so incredibly rude and maybe she thought she was was talking quietly enough but she certainly wasn’t. Would never come back to this place.

The name is exactly what it is. Pub food with good drinks & nice ppl.
The Gaelic 3 onion soup was one of the best soups I’ve had in a long time. Very flavourful. The clam chowder was good. The soft pretzels were fine. The chicken parm sando was good as well.
The drinks were a generous pour, the bartender and server were very nice and it seemed like everyone knew each other in there which gave it a nice atmosphere.

Best best best Pub (Bar) Style pizza around. Amazing sauce. Thin sliced. Not very doughy. Open late for pizza too. Close tie for first place with Cape Cod Pizza. Close but beats Town Spa & Crisp.
