Unfortunately, I agree with all the reviews regarding the service. The food isn’t fresh at all, and sadly, it’s not one of my favorites. So far, I’ll go back to see if they’ve improved anything, but it really wasn’t what I wanted. I normally expect something to eat there that’s a little better and fresher. For the amount of money you pay, I’d rather go to another Panera. I recommend the one that’s very good elk Grove I also highly recommend the Panera in Vacaville. Supposed to be using Midtown Sacramento have to be the best

This is definitely one of the worst Panera locations I’ve been to. My order has never been on time but today was the worst. After 30 mins of waiting, I was still on long list of pending order with no estimate on when order will be ready. Shoot me if I ever order from here again.
Update Oct 10: I was hungry and decided to order from them again, and what you, late know. Fool me twice..

Why do they only give 1 spoon when we had 2 orders of soup and 1 fruit cup. Annoying to discover and get up to ask each time. Also, no plates. They pack everything for takeaway even if you dine in. How wasteful and inconvenient. Plus their food always makes my stomach hurt. What’s that about?

I’ve been here a few times and they’ve been great until today. I bit into my chicken avocado melt and there was a massive piece of rubbery, hard, and raw looking chicken. I used to work at Panera so I know the chicken comes pre cooked and they shred it but it looked raw. I don’t understand how they could throw it on there and call it a day ):

Consistently good heart warming meals. Wide variety of natural drinks like lemonade or passion green tea. Quick service. Good to go containers. Great service for to-go orders. Super specials upon signing up and on going.

As someone who drives all day for deliveries, I need quick spots to grab something decent. Panera’s perfect. It’s fast, filling, and I don’t feel like I’m eating junk. Their sandwiches are hearty, the iced tea is fresh, and there’s usually a clean bathroom — which you know matters when you’re on the road.

I work across the street from this location and thought I’d give them a try today on my lunch break – Panera has never been a gold standard of quality for me, or even bronze, but I was really craving a chicken salad sandwich and their limited time cran walnut chicken sandwich sounded great! But it was not worth the wait.
One of the most basic sandwiches and a plain iced latte took them over 20 minutes to make, which in itself is not a terribly long time, but is almost half my total lunch break. The aggravating part is that they have a live feed showing the where you’re at in the queue and the progress of your order, and I watched my name somehow move further and further DOWN the list. I must have moved from page 3 to page 2 and back at least a half dozen times so I had no real way to estimate my wait time. I nearly cancelled my order by the time I was called up just from the sheer frustration of watching newer orders move ahead of mine. Not to mention the very loud dining area, it was on par with mid 90’s McDonalds Playplace. All of this, for a sandwich filled almost entirely with a sad “mixed green”. I will not be wasting another lunch break for Panera.

I was never a Panera girl until this one opened up right by my salon studio in downtown Sacramento. It made sense to become a SIP club member and I love all the perks. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming. Kiyara remembered my name from day one and always greets with a smile. They do get very busy around lunchtime so I recommend to place your order early as possible. I also recommend checking your order before leaving because if there was an error on their part, they are quick and happy to make it right!
