We tried this place kind of randomly. The atmosphere is really impressive, the whole place is decked out with various stuff. Service was great. The food was honestly some of the best I’ve had in a long time. I wanted to try something different so I got the Pollo a la Crema. No idea what’s in the sauce, but it was delicious. The rice is super tender and flavorful. My kids (aged 4-10) even ate their meals, which were priced about $8 each, mine being about $17. The menu is huuuuge, definitely a place that requires many visits to try different things. Hopefully enough people discover this place that it becomes a staple for years to come.

First time there. Awesome waitress and great food..if u leave there hungry it’s ur fault and they hve a great selection of drinks and non alcoholic beverages..we had one with orange juice..sprite and strawberry..also if u hve a birthday coming up it’s really cool to go there..they had a few celebrations going on while we were there..if u haven’t been there u need to go.

The portions are big I will give that a positive take however, the service is so slow. Waited 20 minutes for just a box, and another 20 for the check. We ended up going upfront to ask to pay. We took my mom for her birthday here, and we asked if they could sing to her as we had seen another table did the same. They never showed up. The food was very salty, and the chips and salsa had bad flavor. Like a lot of garlic and onions. Overall bad experience. Will not be coming here again. It’s decorated very nicely but then need faster service. Our waitress only checked on us 2 time in the whole hour and a half we were there.

It’s my first time trying out El Charro. The visit was well worth it. The food, atmosphere, and service were top notch. The fajita, chimichanga was very good. I’ll make future visits. Ask for Jennifer. She’s an excellent server, makes sure the dining experience is an excellent one.

We will stick with our usual Mexican options. Not impressed with this place. Strange salsa (taste is ok), jumbo marg must be chugged immediately or it melts all over the table ($17 and a decent amount ended up on the table and floor). Service wasn’t bad except the waiter obviously saw the puddle on our table but did not clean it, he wasnt that busy, it was lunch and they had lots of people running around. Generous portions, food was okay. The enchilada was not what was expected, the flavor of shell was not enjoyed. As for the burrito, it had a good flavor, but I personally don’t like shredded meats and that’s what I got, forgot to ask . I pointed at the item in the menu (a lunch dish) and only got a burrito, I got no sides which were clearly stated in the menu. I even asked and he nodded but he must have thought I was asking if it was ALL IN the burrito, because it was. A HUGE burrito which in the menu picture it wasn’t and there were sides. Decor was busy. I did like some of the lighting, but all the plastic plants are a bit much. We will NOT return.

Our server was slow getting us the check. When I told him we didnt like the queso and didnt even eat it all he said ok and didnt even offer to take it off the check. Food was bland, no flavor at all. Presentation was nice and they have large cups for drinks. Environment was pretty. Would not recommend this place.

My sister and I were in the mood for Mexican, so we stopped at the first place we saw. We came inside (the smell in the entry way is very overwhelming for us), and sat down. Looking at the menu, the prices were a tiny bit higher than other Mexican places, but not alarmingly so. We order, get our chips and salsa. My first clue that this was going to great food was the salsa. It was awesome, though absolutely no spice. Almost a gaspacho, I was flavorful and almost creamy. I ordered quesabirria lunch, and my sister got arroz con carne. The first thing she said was that the rice is better than any other place and she was not wrong. It has great, full flavor. The birria was the best I’ve had anywhere. A hint more beefy than other places, and fantastic, almost medicinal. We will definitely be back more!

Birria pizza, strawberry marg & and a peach marg. Birria was delicious. The drinks were weak, but overall the experience was 10/10. Clean, looks nice inside, and friendly staff! Also not a long wait at all for the food.
