Horrible service. They were not busy, we were the only ones inside and only one customer in the drive through. We only ordered 3 ice cream treats. It took almost 30 minutes to get our order, in which we had to clean them up before we could even take them to go.

The Dell Rapids Dairy Queen just reopened with new owners and trained staff!! The staff trained hard and you can tell it paid off. The food is hot, fresh, comes out fast and accurate. So amazing to have such a great DQ in Dells

Stopped in on 10/29 at 8:40 pm (close at 9) they had the open light off, and would not answer the drive thru. We sat for 14 min then went inside.
Then they told us the grill is closed and wouldn’t serve us.
Just shut the place down. It has had horrible service for years.
This is lady that came outside screaming at us. Saying the closed at 9. Our receipt says 8:53.
Will have to make some phone calls about thise crazy lady tomorrow during business hours!

They are ALWAYs out of things. Wait time for the drive thru is often 45min or more. They didn’t have the things they needed for the last two blizzard I wanted (and I ordered straight from the menu). When they gave me my 3rd choice blizzard (the Superman) it literally grey. Couldn’t eat it. It was so gross

I never leave negative reviews because I understand the way that the food industry works; however, this was one of the worst fast food experiences we’ve had. 3 burgers with bad quality toppings all burnt to a crisp, 3 fries all cold (though they told us “we just dropped the fries”), and got our ice cream about 20 minutes before we got our food. The workers were very loud and messing around and talking inappropriately. We were the only ones in the restaurant besides a table who had been sitting there when we got there and already had their food. We waited AT LEAST 30 minutes. One positive – my dog liked his pup cup.
All of this was $45. We got it to go, and we should’ve gone back for a refund, but we were back on the interstate by the time we noticed the lack of food quality.
