When we asked for a restaurant recommendation from three different people in the area, they all said we had to try the Twisted Fork Bistro. They told us the homemade pasta was delicious although the prices were a little high. Given the good reputation of the restaurant, we had to give it a try.
The pasta turned out to be delicious. We had the Sausage & Pepper Pasta ($8.99) and the Lasagna ($10.99). The portion sizes were very large so we ended up taking some home.
The service provided by Hadley was excellent, both friendly and attentive. We intend to make a return trip to the Twisted Fork on our next visit to Galax.

Traditional Italian fare done well. I had the Mediterranean Marinara and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experience. Great food and friendly staff is a combination that will have me making another visit soon.

Food was great! I got the twisted chicken with the mashed potatoes option and it was fabulous and filling. Broccoli and carrots were included. My husband got the salmon with spaghetti and it was great too. Noodles were definitely homemade. Side salads (slightly extra charge) were very tasty. I thought this was a very good restaurant. Staff were attentive, food came out in a reasonable time. Great little place.

Two people recommended this place at the hotel I was staying in. I am glad I took their advice. We received a friendly welcome as soon as we arrived. The choices were very interesting and reasonably priced. The bowls of pasta when they arrived to the table were fantastic. They were hot,fresh and tasty. You could really tell that everything was fresh. The portions were large as well. The blueberry bread pudding was fantastic.

A quality restaurant. Very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, relaxing as well. Host and waitresses were very nice and attentive. The food was very good; we had the chicken marmalade and beef ravioli and the prices were very affordable. It was a very nice for my partners birthday dinner. We will be coming back 🙂

Hubby and I stumbled upon this Bistro while waiting for our dogs to be groomed. SO glad we did. It was excellent. Best place we have dined since moving to the mountains of Virginia. We really miss the restaurants where we used to live but this one is a top choice!!!

Food was good but some dishes were overpriced for what you get. Presentation could have been much better, but perhaps dinner is different than lunch plating. Decor is nice but background music would help the overall mood. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. Would consider trying other dishes once more.

The house made fresh pasta was good. However, the lettuce in the salad was kind of rusty. Price was very reasonable. Good service and pleasant vibe. They were even able to take care of our large group, including children, with a great attitude.

We’d never heard of you before tonight. We just wanted you to know that the food was absolutely delicious. The service was terrific. Your staff went above & beyond to make us feel welcomed & valued customers. Almost like family. This was our 1st visit but it won’t be the last. Keep up the good work.
