This past April marked the very 1st visit to this panadería and so happy to have discovered it. Lotsa great baked goodies here, folks!
Decided to trek off to the RL area one Friday late afternoon and after having dinner, my wife asked me if I knew of any popular bakeries in town in particular a Latino bakery.
We live up in Beach Park but I myself lived in Round Lake from May ’89- Nov ’02 so I’m quite familiar with the area though the place has changed a lot with so many new businesses I’ve never heard of since I left.
Googled local bakeries and noticed this one was highly rated. Venue may look old on the outside but is kept very clean in the interior and all those popular postres, pasteles, churros, Tres Leches cakes, pan……..you name it, Yeli’s has it!
Always happy to support a local business and hope for continued booming business for the owner(s).

The conchas are fantastic! I always enjoy visiting because the pastries are so delicious. Plus, the lady is incredibly nice. I’m not sure why some people complain about her—she seems like a wonderful person

I recently discovered Yeli’s Bakery, and I couldn’t be happier! Their Mexican bread is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. I had the best concha of my life, filled with a delightful cream cheese filling. Each bite was a perfect blend of sweetness and creaminess. The quality and flavor of their bread are unmatched. I highly recommend Yeli’s Bakery to anyone looking for authentic and mouthwatering Mexican pastries. I’m so glad to have found this gem!

The tamales and cake pops are really really good! The music is a tad bit loud and I was a bit confused in the baked goods area, its a serve yourself and bring to the counter. At first found that a bit odd but honestly its convenient and you can pick what you want- which is nice. Definitely a cute place and id be back again.

My family and I recently moved into the area and found this amazing bakery about a year ago. This will always be our first choice from now on. The selection is great and everything is delicious. We tried the tamales for the first time last week and I can’t imagine getting them anywhere else now.

The bread and cookies were decent however the lady who works in the morning’s attitude was a bit too much. It was about 9am when I walked in and asked if there were any tamales left for sale and she rudely said no and pointed over at the warmer and proceeded to say and we won’t be making anymore. Then I asked if there was any champurrado as there was a sign infront of me saying so and she responds with honestly idk maybe a cup left and she didn’t bother to check. So I said just said forget it. Her body language and attitude spoke for itself. She was tossing my cookies and bread very nasty into the bag and then started slamming the tray and tongs down as if she was annoyed that I was there. Maybe reconsider who runs and opens your bakery with a stank face and attitude like hers. It’s not a good look to be such a nasty person first thing in the morning to people who are just simply trying to give your company some business. The sad part is I was recommended here and had just got off work looking forward to some goodies here but now I will take my business elsewhere because I don’t need to feel like I’m a nuisance the minute I step foot into somewhere. I ordered a cake for my husband birthday and it was one of the best cakes we’ve ever had. My dad and brother in law don’t really like cake. But let me tell you,they sure had cake that day. I was very happy!! The lady that made the cake sahe was super nice and very helpful by having my cake ready the next day for. And the l mexican bread,pastries there are the BEST in Lake County. If you want to have pan like how real mexican bread from Mexico taste like. You need to come here at Yeli’s Bakery.

I got there at 530 Sunday morning. The man loading the cases was very nice and helpful. I got conchitas and a cheese stuffed concha and they are delicious. Soft, sweet and just amazing. Bonus, they have gallons of milk so i didnt have to make 1 more stop
