Although it’s a restaurant located inside a hotel, the prices were reasonable and the food was good overall. The chicken wings were crispy and delicious, and the cheese platter was excellent. The bolognese wasn’t quite what we expected, but the steak & shroom was great for sharing.
The servers were very friendly, but it felt like one person was covering the entire dining area, so it was hard to expect very accommodating service. Still, you could tell they were doing their best and genuinely trying to be kind. It was a good experience overall, and I’d like to go back.

I tried Q Kitchen during my stay at the Hyatt Regency.
The breakfast was included in the hotel package — it was tasty, but the variety was limited since it was mostly American-style breakfast options.
For dinner, I went back to the restaurant and really enjoyed it. I ordered the shrimp tacos, and I highly recommend them — they were fresh and full of flavor.
What made it even better is that, with the hotel package, they deducted $15 from the bill, which made the dinner price very reasonable with this offer.
Overall, it’s a nice restaurant with good vibes, and I would definitely come back for dinner

During a stay at the Hyatt Riverwalk I had dinner here and it did not disappoint! I was immediately greeted and served water as soon as I sat down. I have a gluten allergy and my server helped me find some suitable options. She was super friendly and attentive. Bennie her name is. Thanks!!
Several other people checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. All I ended up needing was some boxes because I had a beet salad that was delicious but also very large. I also had a burger with BBQ hand cut kettle fries and those were far better than I expected. The seasoning wasn’t too overpowering. But they serve a lot of them so I some of those for later too.
Overall, you end up paying for good food and good service and all while listing to a live musician on the guitar. And I got say, while the riverwalk was beautiful to take a stroll, on a Saturday the number of people is overwhelming as is the noise, so this is as a far better choice for me.

Do NOT get the prime rib sandwich. Super dry, overcooked meat and lackluster in flavor. Got it replaced with a regular burger. It was pretty bland as well but much better than the prime rib one. The live music and 4 TVs with sports was great. Service was good as well. Overpriced for what you get. There are better options on the riverwalk.

We were looking for breakfast food in the downtown area, so we found Q Kitchen Bar. The place is inside The Hyatt, I think. The food was good, I got the chicken fried chicken, and it was well plated, but it was kinda bland. The chicken was dry, so most of the time. I don’t always blame the restaurant for not so good food, but the chef cooking it. So maybe it was just an off day for the chef. But the biscuit, on the other hand, was the best I have had. It was very light and fluffy. The mimosas were equally as good. So, I’m not sure if I will be running back for breakfast, but it’s worth trying maybe lunch or dinner.

DJ was my server & honestly he’s one of the best. He was just the right amount of attentive – and super kind. I had questions and he had helpful answers. I didn’t have to wait to get my check or anything. He was incredible!
I had the brisket quesadilla which was really delicious — the pico de gallo and the sauce on the side could’ve been a bit better BUT the quesadilla itself was amazing. Tons of cheese & brisket – def recommend

Really solid meal in a nice environment, great staff. I sat at the bar and had some very good fish tacos with house made kettle chips. I wanted to stay in, and the nearby Riverwalk restaurants are fun bars, but not very good food, generally. So ate at the bar in the hotel, and was pleasantly surprised. The food is pricey given it’s in a hotel and on the Riverwalk, but wasn’t crazy. Tacos were flavorful and well cooked, only minor complaint is they were really dry, not enough dressing and fish was a bit dried out. But I’d stay at the Hyatt Regency again combining the nice hotel with a really solid in house restaurant. The bartenders were super attentive and did a great job as well.

My husband was obsessed with their old fashions he got 2 on the first night, 3 the next, then 4 on the last night. They are indeed pricey though. Other cocktails are decent. Our server for all nights, Maria, is super nice and went above and beyond. Live music 6-9pm on Fri- Sun, other than that, quiet and relaxing ambient.

Had a nice simple weekend breakfast at the Q kitchen in the Hyatt Regency Riverwalk. Ordered avocado toast and added smoked salmon. It was a perfect light breakfast with a nice iced tea. Service was prompt and courteous and the view of the atrium and river was very nice!

This is the restaurant that is used for guests staying at the Hyatt Regency. The ambiance is alright though it’s indoors and not particularly nice in views. The service is surprisingly just OK, compared to so many other places with texas hospitality.
Prices are very high and the food is alright and takes a while to prepare. Certainly wouldn’t eat here if not for having a globalist credit at the restaurant.
