Food was absolutely worth the bit of wait. Our server Becky did amazing. She even got a chicken plank for my roommate to try (he’s on the spectrum so new food places are an issue for him. She didn’t know that but handle getting him served without skipping a beat). He ended up eating and really enjoyed the chicken. I’m very happy we decided to stop. The service really was the best I’ve ever had.

We found this place by accident because Prima Marina was closed. Really good home cooked food and friendly service. The inside is cozy. There is one small drawback. The place smells like it had been a smoking establishment at some point and you can still faintly smell smoke.

Just stopped in for a bite and a beer. It was really good, and pretty inexpensive. I got a fish sandwich, which came with fries, and ordered a 22 ounce local craft beer to wash it all down. $6.75 for the sandwich and $4.75 for the beer, pretty reasonable prices I’d say. The fish sandwich was pretty tasty, it was cod. If you go into the lounge just be aware that smoking is allowed. It doesn’t really bother me but I figured I’d mention it because I’m from Colorado and there really isn’t any bar or restaurant that allows you to smoke inside of it anymore.

I travel a lot, but I am from West Virginia. So for me to say that this is the BEST atmosphere in a bar and that they have the BEST bartender I’ve ever experienced (Ms. Amy,) then it’s a LOT coming from me. If I could give her and the bar 10 stars, I would.
