I chose to go out of my way to get The Tavern for lunch and I opted for double meat. I get this all the time made the way it comes add red onions please. Unfortunately the sandwich was made so sloppily globs of mayonnaise. The paper soiled and tearing from the sandwich setup. Mind you I didn’t ask for extra. I couldn’t even eat the sandwich. Forced to return through inconvenient terms. Nearly $20 later I’m still hungry and it’s costing me time and fuel. I heading back tomorrow for my refund. I’m not familiar with this person today. I love this location the ladies Adrian and Porcha always do my food so great and they’re the most courteous people as well. Simply wonderful energy they provide!

Not only is the Ham the best I have ever had, but the woman who work there are sweet as can be. Ready to answer all of your questions. I had a great experience even though I had to wait in a long line because it’s 2 days before Thanksgiving. Happy holidays everyone!

Went out of my way to come to make a purchase and they don’t have tap to pay at this location. I guess they don’t like making money. The excuse, “they” turned off that service. I’ve used tap to pay at other locations. The response, those were other locations. According to the employee in a bonnet at work, who was in the back when I entered. Don’t have to be concerned with me ever coming here again.

Literally, why would you not accept tap to pay like EVERY other business then give me a smug answer that it is disabled for the holidays? Society has been told by the banks to start using Google wallet it’s safer because apparently the chip on cards isn’t safe for your information. Nobody is carrying around their cards anymore people use their phones to pay for everything so when I ask this question that is so obvious as to the world we are living in it might be better to not look at me like I am from outer space when tap is used EVERYWHERE else and clearly you don’t want business.

Honey baked ham is really good. We usually get one for thanksgiving & Christmas family meals. Way easier (and better) than cooking the turkey all day.
Get it 3-4 days early and avoid the line (which can get huge). The 1st year I went the day before and there was a huge line, police for crowd. Just craziness. People REALLY like these hams. And they are very good.
The Fort Lauderdale store is easier to get in and out of than the store out west.

Update: so they actually sent me a gift card to correct the soul crushing bacon scandal. I went back and another lady was there and she made my sandwich with love. I’m so happy right now. GIVE HER A RAISE!!!!!!
That lady really stood behind that counter saw this bacon was burnt and crispy picked it up with her hands placed it on my sandwich and charged and sent me on my way home to bite into it and ALL my feelings were hurt. Do you know the pain and heart ache I went through when I excitedly unwrapped the paper and bit into it, just to be body slammed by the taste of over cooked pig. It does something to your soul…. Hopefully I’ll recover from this tragedy….
