My husband and I ate here for the first time and were not disappointed. I got the chicken parm and he got shrimp scampi. Not only was the food delicious, but the atmosphere was wonderful. Our server, Sarah S., was on top of everything. She was easy to talk to while being professional. The owners, Mary Beth and Grant also introduced themselves to us. They were both super friendly and you can tell they are passionate about their food and business. 10/10 would recommend Portofino!

Perfect!! Starting off with the ABSOLUTE best waitress, Kayla! We started off with calamari and crab cakes. These just melted in your mouth! Our main course, Pork Osso Buco was also extremely EXCELLENT!! Will definitely be making time to come back for another time!! 11/10

A wonderful restaurant by the canal…can enjoy the summer evening. The food options were good and accommodating to offer vegetarian options. We went here for date night and sat on the patio enjoying live music. The only issue we had was how slow the service was in getting our food … we waited 45 minutes for appetizers to come out and by the time entree came Sun started setting and we could not stay there due to mosquito attack!
Recommend bug repellent if planning on eating on patio.

Loved dining here! They have gluten free pasta which was a huge plus! Loved the app’s, entree, and dessert they had. Menu is wide but not overwhelming. Lots of delicious options. Shelly was our waitress and she was very attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. Loved the experience overall!

This was the worst meal and restaurant experience of our lives. If I could submit 0 stars I would.
When I booked our reservation we were aware it was Valentine’s weekend, but this was when we could squeeze in our date night. When booking online there was an option for their Valentine’s Day menu or their regular menu. After speaking with my boyfriend we both agreed we wanted the regular menu since nothing sounded good on the Valentine’s Day menu, not to mention it was $75/person. Seemed a little steep for this type of restaurant.
We arrived to the restaurant at 8 pm on Friday, S was starving since he hadn’t eaten since 11:30 am and was busy at work all day. We sat down and noticed no menus but just their Valentine’s Day menu. I asked the waitress for regular menus which we selected on our reservation. She nicely said she would go check as she was only aware of the Valentine’s Day menu being served that weekend. After our server left, the couple next to us said they booked the regular menu as well and could only select from the Valentine’s Day menu. Being told this and about to leave, we decided to stay and give it a try. I wish we left. Not only was every course cold, but our salads were all end pieces, S steak was rubber and said he thought he just ate a tire. The portions were so tiny and disgusting. We barely ate and didn’t take anything home either. Definitely not worth $75/person. Most of our date night meals aren’t anywhere near that price and the quality and atmosphere is always great, much better than Portofino.
Like our meals weren’t bad enough but the heat wasn’t working or something either because I left with frozen feet and being very cold overall. I wore my jacket half the dinner. I also ordered an aperol spritz, it had bourbon in it….I have no idea what happened but it felt like a scam and a restaurant that is hurting to stay open. I wish Aqua Vino was still there, it was always good and jam packed and full of people having a great time, not dead silence and everyone suffering through the worst meals of their lives.
We will never go to Portofino again, and I hope those who read this review don’t take a chance on them either, we both got sick and it ruined our weekends.

My first time dining at Portofino Restaurant, I had the Chicken Francaise served with angel hair pasta and fresh roasted brussel sprouts! We topped off our dining experience with Mascarpone cheesecake topped with strawberry puree, fluffy whipped cream, and a perfect fresh strawberry! The food was absolutely delicious! We dined al fresco, Portofino is nestled on the canal surrounded by water and beautiful lush greenery! The decor is lovely and on point. This is our new favorite restaurant!

Pre-made tiny deserts. Food was not worth 75 per person. Reservation for 6pm., appetizer came at 6:10pm. Main meal at 6:40pm. Salad was forgotten we had to ask and were served with meal. Waited 45 minutes for the tiny pre-made desserts on plastic plates. Never checked on and left with empty drinks. Took us until 8:05pm to get our dessert and check. Not impressed.
