I recently visited this spot, and I was initially caught off guard because it used to be a Chinese restaurant I was familiar with (and thought was okay). Walking in, the place was clean, with brand-new seating. The TVs were off, which was a bit unexpected, but no big deal. What surprised me most was the trap music playing over the speakers — not a complaint, just an observation.
The staff were Asian, and in my head, I thought, “This chicken is going to slap!” I ordered the 10-piece wings with the TikTok sauce and a side of vegetable fried rice. My partner got the catfish and wing combo with fried rice.
The wait time was reasonable — about 15 to 20 minutes — and the service was excellent. While we waited, they offered us a sample of fries. The fries were cold and not very good, but since they were complimentary, we didn’t say anything. However, the cashier asked for our honest opinion, so we let him know. He quickly brought out a fresh batch of fries, which we really appreciated — great customer service.
Once we got our food and headed out, here’s the verdict:
The fried rice was solid — flavorful and well-cooked.
The wings, for me, were a letdown. They tasted bland, possibly over-fried, and just had sauce thrown on top. I wasn’t a fan.
My partner, however, really enjoyed the catfish — no complaints there.
Not to sound stereotypical, but if the wings had been cooked more like traditional “cheese food” (soul food) chicken, I think they would’ve been much better. That said, I get that this isn’t a Chinese restaurant anymore, and they’re doing something different.
Overall:

✅️Fried rice was good
♂️Wings could use improvement
I’d definitely be willing to come back and try something else on the menu.

The beef fried rice is delicious. Wings and fries are good as they are fried in fresh oil and flavored. I ordered burgers for my kiddos and they were good. I also ordered a seafood boil to go and was pleasantly surprised…very tasty. The proprietor is friendly, energetic, and engaging. I would suggest hiring an additional person with strong customer service experience relative to the demographics.

I met the owners when they were looking to rent the building space. They came into my store and chatted for a bit. Very friendly! I was eager to try the restaurant and my coworker and I finally did today. I ordered the catfish combo and they got bbq chicken nuggets. I am a pescatarian from the south. When I say this is some of the best cat fish I have ever had— I am not lying. It doesn’t even need sauce. It is perfectly flaky and the batter is crispy and peppery. The prices are very fair. I am so curious to try their other menu items!

Food was delicious. They TikTok wings, I got a six piece. It was delicious the buffalo Philly steak and cheese the regular The regular Philly steak and shrimp, the BBQ wings everything hit the seasoning just right the sauce. I love this place. I’m definitely coming back. Syracuse needed this.

If you order fish make sure they actually give you the selected fish. I hate tilapia and I know how to distinguish it from other fish. They deliberately gave me the tilapia as it costs less for the business than catfish or whiting. I’ll stick to ordering wings and sandwiches only from now on

So I didn’t end up going in. I ordered them off of Uber eats and they were really good. Their french fries could’ve used some seasoning like please put some seasoning on those fries but their TikTok special wings were really good, Their garlic Parm wings I wasn’t that impressed with they could’ve used a little bit more sauce. But all in all the food portions are great, oh also got a burger that was completely huge. Everything tasted great
