If you’re from Los Angeles and you miss that class LA sushi, this is it!!! I had the Lion King roll and it was pretty Bomb. I went to the other Sushi spot up the hill and well… it disappointed my tastebuds. Definitely will be back to try the Ramen!

Menu was versatile and had vegan options, curry, ramen, cooked and raw rolls. Everything tasted fresh and delicious! Fairly decent prices too! The atmosphere was welcoming, loved the decor and music. Wait staff was very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely continue going to try the whole menu!!

Very good food, amazing service!! We entered this place before it opened by mistake and we were still served and staff was very nice! We just had some noodles after going to CalPoly Humboldt for a little adventure and it was very good ✨️
After I started going to school here in 2025 they let my friends and I in here on Halloween with our dog ans it was awesome, they aren’t exactly pet friendly but they were very understanding and accomidating and let our group sit in the corner

My first time here and it was lovely! My server, Sam, was so amazing to talk to. What a delight. He made me feel so warm and welcomed, and I feel like I made a friend.
I asked for as much unagi as I could get and he recommended the Unagi Don. Oh my god, it was DELICIOUS. Unagi was perfection, the pickled daikon was the perfect compliment. The miso was packed full of miso flavor (a gorgeous, rich color!) And the fried icecream…oh wow. How decadent! That was delicious. Even being way too full, I had to finish it.
I love them and had a wonderful experience, but I don’t think I would recommend the chicken karage…it needs more seasoning I think. But not terrible.

I absolutely adore this place! The food is delicious and I love the atmosphere. It has a super cute sake bar vibe, lots of fun art on the walls and funky lighting. Great vegan options as well as a couple gluten free ones. The vegan miso ramen is to die for and my friends say they have the best sushi in town(in regards to fish quality and flavor). What really prompted me to write this review was the amazing service we received last night. After a long day of work and travel me and my friends were unsure of if any places were still open (even for takeout), but we were able to call in an order here before they closed and they were so kind. The portions were huge and we could not have been happier with the service we received.

We have so many sushi restaurants in Humboldt, I’ve become very particular. Nori beat all my expectations in taste and portion size. The presentation made me feel like I was fine dining, though the price is what I would consider normal for a local sushi. The wait staff was attentive, and very kind.
Highly recommend and I look forward to trying the sake options next!

Food was excellent. We were eating dinner before going to the movie theater and had no problem being on time for our movie. Food came quickly and was all fresh and delicious. Service was great, lovely atmosphere, design, fresh flowers on all the tables, comfy seats, and they had a huge heater going to keep us all cozy inside on a cold rainy night. Would definitely go again!

I made a reservation online but discovered upon arrival they don’t use that system. luckily they had a table for our party of 5 and we were seated right away. The food was amazing and the service was great. We had to wait a little while for our main entrees but it was to be expectected with us having a larger group of people. Love this place and I can’t wait to go back!
