We had the most amazing Valentine’s dinner at Yuzu! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, elegant, and perfect for a special night out.

Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality and care in the food. Everything came out perfectly, and the service made the experience even better.

We truly had such a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend for a date night or any special occasion!

We went to Yuzu for lunch and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is modern, peaceful, and beautifully designed, a perfect hidden getaway. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and artfully plated, from the gyoza to the sushi rolls.

The drink menu was also impressive, an extensive selection of sake, plum wines, and cocktails that paired well with the meal. Cocktails average about $17.

Our waitress, Vivi, was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and made excellent recommendations. The price point was moderate, which made the experience feel like an incredible value for the quality and presentation.

A beautiful spot for anyone who appreciates great food, great service, and a little elegance in their day.

The only downside, Google Maps doesn’t take you directly to the entrance. You’ll need to park a short distance away and walk over to the restaurant. It’s a bit tricky to find at first, but absolutely worth the effort once you arrive!

They did a great job at everything. The food was delicious and high quality. We liked the music and our server who was very knowledgeable about their menu. The hot rock was fun! We will be coming back.

Service was great. Our server was Harley, she was sweet and attentive. She seemed to know the menu well and was eager to share her knowledge. The food was underwhelming. We tried the wagyu wonton tacos, which were severely overcooked and dry. The wagyu had the consistency of gyro meat. We also had the crisp rice spicy tuna. It was good, but deconstructed which made the handling odd. Husband tried the Yuzu margarita. It was unique, but not well balanced. Overall, we weren’t happy with the quality or quantity for the price point. We did have a later dinner, so we didn’t stay for more.

Location is a bit hidden, but we stumbled across this place for lunch. Food was pricier than expected, but only because I didn’t know what to expect. It ended up being a very nice place with a great ambiance and delicious food.

This is really our go to most Friday nights for my wife and I as a last minute date night.

The food is fire. We have high standards especially for sushi and this is a solid joint. We love having such a good sushi place in Rockwall.

Prices worth it imo although be prepared for longer wait times for anything ordered. If you go in with that in mind and order aggressively and often, you’re good. Here’s my list for future Tim!

If Rachelle is still working here she’s awesome waitress!

Butter lettuce Salad – everytime
Kazan maki – top 3
Soft shell crab roll – very good
Otoro shashimi – fire
Yellow tail shashimi – tasty
Scallop shashimi
Saketoro shashimi
Smoked yellow tail
Fresh wasabi
Waton tacos – yup
Spicy geisha – yup
Garlic spicy edemame – everytime
The roasted peppers app – tasty
Niko passion fruit very tasty
Chiviche roll – everytime
Negi hamachi roll – everytime
Short rib – the best dang pot roast you’ll ever have lol
Kanpanchi krudo – fire! Order again Tim

Went off peak for lunch after hearing a lot of hype. Service was good but then again there was almost nobody there and cannot really comment on atmosphere either. . Gyoza was well fried but bland. Signature roll included sushi and it was admittedly fresh but flavorless. Their version of the volcano roll also was tasteless. The waitress told us it was lobster but it was really boiled crawfish on a very bland almost oddly steamed California roll. The main course was a flavor recommended sea bass. Fish was again fresh but their signature sauce too thick and sweet and took away the flavor of the fish and left a bad fishy aftertaste. Declined dessert of course so cannot comment on that. Food was WAY overpriced for what we got. Additionally, mentioned disappointment with main course but manager never came out to talk to us. Will not be going back.

Enjoyed what was probably our last patio dinner for a little while. Have to shout out this restaurant – hands down the BEST sushi I have EVER had. I highly recommend. Its at the Harbor on Lake Ray Hubbard and worth the hassle of driving on 30 and the crazy parking. Pro Tip – valet or hit the parking garage by the movie theater.

We had Smoked Yellowtail over yuzu ponzu and a roll – Truffled spicy tuna, cucumber, chu toro, truffle ponzu, scallion. The truffle and ponzu is the combo you could have never imagined being so amaizng!

As someone who frequently travels to Rockwall, TX for work, I can confidently say that Yuzu is a culinary gem that rivals even the best sushi spots in Los Angeles.

The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a sleek and contemporary ambiance that sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The chefs at Yuzu are true artisans, crafting each dish with precision and passion. I highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar, where you can watch these masters at work and receive personalized recommendations that never disappoint.

I personally love nigiri style sushi their Otoro, Chutoro, and Tuna nigiri are the best in town!
Other dishes I always get are the half shell oysters (fresh always), seared salmon belly, chefs created salmon roe hand roll, and of course their uni just melts in your mouth.

The service is impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring a delightful dining experience.
Whether you’re a sushi aficionado or new to Japanese cuisine, the diverse menu offers something for everyone, from inventive rolls to traditional sashimi. They have a pretty full bar, try their lychee Martini!

In a region where quality sushi can be hard to come by, Yuzu stands out as a beacon of excellence. Each visit reaffirms my belief that this is the best sushi in the area, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience in Rockwall
