Three wasted trips, rude treatment, and zero accountability.
I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at Yang’s Kitchen. I placed a takeout order and got home only to realize it wasn’t what I ordered. When I called, the manager told me the dish normally comes with broccoli — which mine did not. I went back to the restaurant to sort it out, but when I tried to show them my food, they didn’t even bother to look at it and instead asked if I knew what I was ordering. I was treated with complete disrespect and went home again with no resolution.
After that, I was told I had to come back yet again in person to get a refund — only to find out later that wasn’t even true. They didn’t need my card, so that last trip was completely unnecessary. To top it off, at one point they transferred me to a random number that had nothing to do with the restaurant.
Between being jerked around on the phone, driving back and forth three times, and being talked down to instead of helped, this was an absolute nightmare. Save yourself the frustration — there are plenty of other restaurants in Charleston that actually value their customers.

Quiet place for lunch. This was my second visit, ordering something different. I ordered hot and spicy shrimp with no rice and add vegetables. They did charge $1 more to get vegetables, which was fine. However the vegetables I got were only peppers and onions. Disappointing. Overall, good flavor and service. Won’t order the vegetables again.

I ordered the passion fruit drink. It was a little on the sweet side, but the flavor was great and really refreshing. I enjoyed it overall and will definitely be coming back to try more from the menu next time!

I spent almost $100 last week at the restaurant. It was a DoorDash order. I threw all of it away. The egg soup had some kind of d Dumpling filled with meat. The sweet and sandwich chicken and vegetable lo mein smelled spoiled. The barbecue rib meal was also awful. The meat was so tough that you couldn’t eat it. The spring rolls again had some kind of unknown meat in them.

The lady at the counter that took my order wasn’t friendly. She took the egg roll at my bag not welcoming at all. I felt very uncomfortable. This is how they made me feel which is not cool. The next customer that came in she was nice to. I believe she was prejudiced.

Got food poisoning from this restaurant Monday 1/18/26. Ordered a beef lo mein, buy 1 get 1 pork dumplings, and 2 vegetable egg rolls through UberEats around 5pm. By 11p I was violently sick, and am still recovering days later. Believe these 1 star reviews, DO NOT EAT HERE.
