Finally tried Corner Bar’s new breakfast menu and it’s honestly amazing. I got the avocado toast and it blew me away- brioche, creamy avocado, crispy bacon and a perfectly runny egg with Tajín on top (Tajín on eggs + bacon?? Shockingly DELICIOUS).
My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito and said it was really good too- packed with fries, eggs, bacon, cheese sauce, pico served with breakfast potatoes and seasoned sour cream.
The only downside was the service. Our waitress seemed a bit…off and wasn’t very friendly (maybe she was having a bad morning or wasn’t quite awake yet idk lol). Nothing major just not as warm as we’re used to. But the food itself was fantastic and absolutely worth trying.

When the food is made the way it’s described in the menu it’s great unfortunately there’s so much inconsistency in how items are prepared that you don’t often know what you’re going to get. I have ordered from this restaurant over 10 times in the last 4 months. I almost always order the same thing which is the Asian shrimp salad. It’s a toss-up if the fried wonton strips will be included, whether or not the shrimp is tossed in Korean BBQ, whether the cornbread is included, etc. This is my most recent order today. I can’t say I’ve ever had the entire salad tossed in the sweet chili dressing so this is a first and it’s definitely not appetizing to eat soggy lettuce. Again when it’s made as intended it’s great but it is easily a 50/50 chance whether or not it will be.

First time coming in after the remodel and I am very impressed. Personally I like the new layout much more than before. I’ve been hearing the new food menu was delicious. I had the cheese curd smash burger with sweet potato tots and I can definitely confirm that the hear-say was accurate. Looking forward to next trips to jamestown to try some other food on the menu as there is a lot to choose from. One suggestion I have is maybe consider getting some copper cups and ginger beer for Moscow/Kentucky mules?

We have been to this establishment title times and have had unbelievably rude service. It is really too bad because the food is different and good. But the service has been unacceptable from picking up food orders and greeted with “what do you want”?, to having someone get upset when we needed a table.put together, a server making a shoot me in the head sign at another coworker and pointing to one of her guest in passing, and hearing huffing and puffing. We met for a birthday party in which the waiters attitude totally ruined it. Too bad they have so many rotten apples running the place. Not worth it even if food is good.

Had the Beef and Mushroom melt….dry as all get out. One person in our party had chicken stripe and they were literally black from old grease. Drinks were okay, but for $94 for 4 people and its bar food, I think the food quality wasn’t worth that amount.
