Vincent’s was because it was close to my mother’s house and had the least wait time out of all available pizzerias on Slice – that’s what I get for cutting corners.
I ordered a pie and a white slice from Vincent’s via Slice and what I got was a pie that looked like it had been cooked and reheated one time too many along with a white slice that had the consistency of a sponge.
If you scroll down to the “eggplant slice,” it looked and likely tasted equally as disgusting.
We didn’t finish the food and $30 later, when Slice reached out to them after I complained, they claimed the food was made fresh – look at my picture – clearly their definition of fresh is a loose one.
Don’t order from here unless you like pizza that’s a level up from Ellio’s.
Pizza is old world charm from 80’, simple, utilitarian, nothing fancy pizza.
The margarita pizza was crispy, it will almost break in half if you fold it, nice oil dripping pizza from past.
The mozzarella got chewy and rubbery texture as it got colder.
Good place for quick in and out.
The so-called “eggplant parm slice” was nothing but a plain slice with a haphazardly placed slab of old, soggy eggplant on top. It was as if someone had raided the leftovers bin and decided to pass it off as a legitimate dish. To add insult to injury, both slices were sparsely coated with sauce and shredded cheese, as if trying to disguise the fact that they were serving subpar fare.
I felt not only disappointed but also insulted by the blatant disregard for quality and integrity. It’s clear that the staff at Vincent’s either lacks basic culinary skills or, worse, thinks their customers are too naive to notice the difference between a genuine dish and a pitiful attempt at one.
Furthermore, the lack of transparency is utterly disappointing. If they were out of the slices I ordered, a simple phone call to inform me would have sufficed. Instead, they chose to sneakily substitute my selections with whatever scraps were lying around, hoping I wouldn’t notice. It’s a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and a sign of their incompetence or, worse, their disrespect for patrons’ intelligence.
Save yourself the time, money, and disappointment by avoiding Vincent’s. There are plenty of other pizzerias in town that actually take pride in their craft and respect their customers enough to serve them something worth eating.
