Inside the restaurant, there’s a hidden speakeasy that sets the tone with gorgeous design and beautifully crafted cocktails!
As for the food? 9/10. The pricing is higher than normal, but honestly still worth it for the vibes and the quality. Everything we tried was very good.
The lobster pasta was rich and flavorful, the fried fish with that lemon + vinegar spray was such a standout touch, the crab cakes were crispy and packed with flavor, the calamari was tender, and the steak was cooked perfectly.
You really can’t go wrong here every dish impressed.
And we ended the night with the dreamiest olive oil cake
If you’re looking for an excellent seafood dinner at Encore Boston, this is the place.
The seafood options are truly excellent. We tried several dishes, including the beautiful Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail (perfectly chilled), the Crab Cakes (crispy and served on a delicious corn succotash/puree), and the main courses. The seared fish (tuna or swordfish, perhaps?) with corn relish and the incredible Seafood Boil/Pot (packed with lobster, clams, mussels, corn, and asparagus) were highlights. Everything was fresh and expertly presented.
It’s a great spot for both a hangout with friends or a couples dating night, as the atmosphere is lively and sophisticated, and the bar is packed. The overall experience was good—the food is definitely the star. The service was polite, but perhaps could have been a bit more memorable.
Great recommend for the quality of the food and the beautiful setting!
We ordered the Baked Haddock that is made with Ritz cracker, the Spaghetti, clam chowder, zucchini summer salad, calamari, and tuna tartare. They were all flavorful and fresh!
After dinner, ask them about their hidden speakeasy bar! The nautical theme along with some beautifully crafted cocktails ends your date night perfectly.
One of the nice restaurants Encore has to offer.
