We ordered the ribs, 1/2 chicken, chops, greens, Mac n cheese, Mac salad and french fries. Meat was on point!!!! Sides were good, the Mac salad had some kind of meat in it so it wasn’t the traditional Mac salad. That doesn’t mean it was bad or didn’t taste good, it just caught me off guard. I was expecting traditional Mac salad 4 stars and they will feed my family again.

YMH feels like home when you walk through the door. Always greeting by the owners upon arrival. My family’s favorite BBQ restaurant. Check out their food; you’re getting your moneys worth! I’ve inserted a picture of their rib dinner with 3 sides and cornbread. The meal comes with 2 sides, but their food is so good that I get extra. There’s genuine love in this restaurant while they’re preparing your food. Also, if you ever have an issue with your food, they are open minded and handle constructive criticism in a very professional manner. It’s a must try!

Grabbed dinner for the family..ox tail fell off the bone, fish was seasoned perfectly, loved the seasoned fries and the cornbread was better than plain traditional cornbread..everything was on point and the owners were super friendly…cant wait to try the ribs next time I’m in town!

The food was fantastic, the wings were well seasoned, the fries had a unique taste, the brisket was flavorful and the BBQ sauces were good. The only small complaint is that the Mac n Cheese was a bit dry but not flavorless. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

As someone who’s tried a lot of mediocre BBQ,I can confidently say that these guys r serving some of the best quality brisket in the burg! It is juicy, tender, and smoked to perfection, with a good mix of fatty and lean meat. Their greens, potato salad, and beans are also very good and worth trying. Great find

ribs and brisket were a little drier than I prefer but the chicken and chops were excellent as well as the sides and corn bread. Service was superb, there was a small mistake with the order but quickly corrected and made right!

I had a chicken dinner . The chicken was ok. Regular fried chicken . The baked Macaroni had too much cheese. Tasted blocky. The baked mac noodles had hard pieces . I recommend working on the ratios because it was not properly proportioned. The baked beans should have been called mash and beans because it was absolutely mashed like some mash potatoes. It had absolutely no flavor . The corn bread was dry and flakey couldn’t even eat the bite had to spit it out. Again the food ratios /measurements are important when making soul food you can taste when it’s not right !

The food isn’t smoked, its cooked indirect and fast on some old grill out back. Then it sits all day waiting for someone to order it, which just makes it more dry. The brisket was grilled, not slow cooked all day, and it was bone dry. Really should take “BBQ” out of the name as there is no BBQ going on. Sides were not good and just messy. Hard pass
