It is hard to rate a steakhouse in a city such as Geneva, where frankly you shouldn’t expect a good steak that doesn’t cost you an arm and leg.

That said, objectively, their 65 franks T-bone is quite bad.

I’ve had the good fortune to eat at some of the finest steakhouses across the United States. The lokum (fliet) is one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The safe burger is the very best burger I’ve ever tried, and the carpaccio is to die for. Very unique, but very delicious. The service was also outstanding.

If you happen to be in Geneva and you want fine food in a relaxed environment, you have to try “Safe Meat”! You won’t be disappointed.

You must try it, seriously.

It was the best steak I have ever had (and I have had many). It was so tasty, juicy, and tender. That’s really top-quality Swiss Simmental meat, cooked to perfection over an open fire. The burger was also fantastic. They serve very tasty Turkish bread, which you have to try even if you are full.

The place is atmospheric and calm, and the service is great. I totally recommend it.

Was in Geneva for a few days and had to try this place out.
Upon entering the restaurant you are met with a backdrop with the slogan “No Meat No Life”. Never has a slogan summed up my appetite better. So to pay tribute to the slogan, I ended up ordering a 1.1kg tomahawk and three lamb chops with bone marrow all for myself. It was safe to say the waiter was quite surprised that I was able to put down all that protein haha.

These guys are no joke. You ask for medium rare, you get medium rare. The skinny fries are your standard and the tomahawk came with sides.

4.5 Let’s get the good out of the way as it is really good…the burger is near perfection. Chargrilled, a toasted bun, lovely homemade burger sauce with perfect thin fries. A delight. The knockdown is the name is odd and the decor is beyond bizarre. Minotaur, standing bulls like humans with shirts off in pants. Just weird….but block that out and crush the burger.

Highly recommend. The chefs know their trade, the quality of food is impressive in a relaxed & class environment. The smokey taste of their bread, the perfect bleu T-Bone, and melon-lemonchello make a superb meal, & then their baclava. Superb service.
