Hubby and I went here Saturday night. It was a little busy but I’d say it was worth the 35 min wait. The food was delicious, our waitress Hannah was amazing and patient with us which was definitely appreciated. The Parmesan crusted fries were so good! The ribs were tender and hubby enjoyed his shrimp . Will definitely go back maybe during the week though

Second time being here and again, service sucked. Our waitress Mya S barely came to our table until the last 10 minutes with the check and within the last 10 minutes of our stay and yes I mean stay because we were there for 2 hours but waited over an hour on our food to get to the table she came roughly 4 times. Food was cold as hell, waitress took roughly 20 minutes just to come greet us and then just to bring us straws she took an additional 30 minutes. She stay hiding in the back. Several tables came and gone that came in AFTER we came in. Also the kids plates came with the grapes just thrown on the plate and not in a bowl. It was literally the WORST experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant and I definitely will NEVER go back. I’ll stick with Gastonia.

Medium well steak for takeout keeps coming burnt!! . 30 times takeout since they’ve opened and more than half of them, the food’s not been up to par. I was even given three brussels sprouts as a side on one of my orders. Last week they gave me two micro potatoes wrapped in one piece of tinfoil. Over a month ago, I ordered a ribeye when I got home. It was as thin as a breakfast steak and the manager told me that I had a choice to have my steaks cut to the desired thickness of my liking. That is absolute horse hock because no Longhorns offers that service nor did they refund any of my money.as the manager said he would. He also took my receipt and said “I’ll take care of this. ” He took care of it all right he made the receipt disappear so I had no argument and no way to reverse the charges.. they need to step their game up or I’m gonna sell my excavation company and go apply to be manager and turn it into a good restaurant

Let me start by saying this is hands down the worst LongHorn I’ve ever dealt with. I ordered takeout and showed up when the food was supposed to be ready. I expected service like the Gastonia location, you know, basic competence, but clearly that was too much to ask.
I grab my food and leave, and halfway home I realize they forgot the salads. So I have to turn around and waste even more time going back. When I get there, the manager just says “sorry” and walks off like it’s no big deal. No offer to fix anything, no accountability, nothing.
Then I finally get home to eat. I ordered a well-done steak and a sweet potato. The steak was still pink, that’s not well-done, that’s wrong. The sweet potato was so undercooked I had to cut it with a knife. On top of that, whatever seasoning they use was dumped on so heavy it was borderline inedible.
Between the missing food, the bad attitude, and the screwed-up order, this place was a complete disaster. I won’t be coming back to this location ever.
I have added a Picture to let you see what supposed to be a well-done steak

I recently dined at this new LongHorn Steakhouse and had a mixed experience. While the food was cooked Picture perfect, I encountered a significant issue with the flavoring. Unfortunately, there was an overwhelming amount of MSG (monosodium glutamate, which is a food additive used as a flavor enhancer) in everything I ordered. The steak was so salty that I had to spit it out, and this was after they sent out a second steak.
The high levels of MSG were not limited to the steak; the mac and cheese, shrimp and broccoli were also heavily seasoned with it. When the third correction still wasn’t right, I found myself with an MSG-induced migraine and decided to cut my losses and leave.
On a positive note, the service was professional and polite throughout my visit. However, if you have a sensitivity to MSG, I would caution against dining here. It seems that the seasoning is applied in excess, potentially leading to health issues like mine.
If you enjoy MSG, you might find this place suitable for your tastes, but I’m personally disappointed and hesitant to return due to the risk of another migraine. I’ll update if I decide to give it another chance.

Amazing service, seated quickly, greeted quickly order placed within 10 minutes after arrival. They just need to lighten up on salt on the foods. Texas Tonion [very salty] app, half rack baby back ribs tender fall off the bone with salad [house vinegerett was incredible], 8oz Renegade Steak with baked potato.
We did not have any bar drinks or desserts.

I realize that they are new and probably still working out kinks. I get that. I visited here yesterday with my family. The service was nice. You could tell there were corporate managers here for the opening of this restaurant so the niceness will more than likely wear off as time goes on and the corporate managers go back to their respected restaurants. The food took a while to come out [30 minutes plus] which, again, I get because this is a new restaurant. However, when our steaks came out, they were not cooked as requested. Medium and medium-well were rare. We had to send them back. The new ones were still not done to our liking but at that point we were full from sides/appetizers that we just took the steaks home and will finish the cooking process there. My loaded potato had about 2 pcs of bacon bits and barely any cheese. I feel like that should have been addressed before serving to the customer. The restaurant itself is decorated very nicely and the atmosphere is nice as well! I will be interested in seeing how this restaurant is operating 6 months from now. My picture is of the appetizer (onion petals) which were absolutely delicious!!! Overall, though….2.5 of 5 stars.

Wonderful atmosphere and delicious food! Our server Friday evening was Juan and he was so welcoming and hospitable. He went above and beyond to make sure our meals were great and that we had a nice dinner. He was also very knowledgeable and provided solid recommendations regarding the drinks he makes at the bar.
Would love to come back next time I’m in town visiting family. The food and the customer service provided a great experience as a whole!

Our server was Taylor S. She was extremely kind and attentive. This was our second time visiting the Shelby location and the food was great both times and so was the service. We had a sweet potato that was a tad undercooked but we mentioned it and a new one was brought out right away. All in all we’ll definitely be back and I do recommend everyone try. Thanks again, Taylor!
