Tap In is definitely a vibe and the service was great. Chris had our drinks and apps served right away. The mac and cheese, hush puppies, catfish, and greens had me winning. Tap In also offers vegan options the tofu rice entree is a must try. Next time I’ll have to leave room for desert. This is a great place for the family, your girls or the guys. I will definitely eat here again.

Such a vibe! We were in the area and starving and ended up stopping in and I am so glad that we did! The space is dope- I loved all of the crystals, especially the crystal sink. The drinks were *amazing* and super unique (especially the sesame one!) and the food was good! The owner Chris ended up helping us and he was really great! I also love that they have mocktails for the alcohol-free folks! I’ve already sent this place to my sober bestie to check out, and my cocktail connoisseur brother! We will be back 🙂

We left the food on table. Burnt dry and took an hour. The waitress was Awesome though. Great professional kind! I pray they get better food cause she was the only reason we stayed and paid!

A hidden gem in this neighborhood. The decor is absolutely stunning!!!!! I’ve been here a few times now for different occasions. And will certainly be back again.
The servers we’ve had were attentive and lively, and fun cocktail menu as well. The food here was okay. It needs some tweaking to make it stand out a bit more but was fine otherwise.
Prices of cocktails/food were fair.
I loved the music they had playing, it certainly sets the vibe and makes the whole concept come alive.
During warmer weather they do open up their big garage door windows which is fun.
Parking- there are a few spots available in their parking lot, and free street parking next to the building was very easy to come by.
Wheelchair – Accessible for those who use a wheelchair.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY FOR A DEPOSIT THEY WILL NOT CREDIT BACK TO YOUR FOOD OR REFUND TO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT!!! I was initially so excited to eat at this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. I had a large group of 14 and I had to put a $100 deposit down, which is 100% understandable for such a large party. It clearly states on their website that the deposit would be applied to the bill and tell your server that you paid a deposit. We told our server when ordering food that deposit has been placed, he seemed a little confused but whatever. When paying for the meal I was told that they couldn’t apply the $100 deposit to my bill but I would be refunded, which was annoying but it was fine. I emailed the restaurant just asking about when I would be refunded. Heard nothing! Called and left a detail message, NOTHING! It’s been a full TWO weeks and I still have not received the refund for the $100 deposit or have heard anything from anyone at Tap In. Not only is this extremely unprofessional it’s disrespectful! I had to dispute the charge with my bank because I was clearly never going to get my money back. It’s unfortunate that you essentially have to beg to get your money back. The food was not good and was very salty and a few people in my group who ate had to return their food because of how poorly it was made. The only thing that kind of redeems this place is the drinks from the bartender. I will NEVER go back to this place and warn others to not go to this place either. I’m so incredibly disappointed by all of this and their full lack communicate or care. Please save yourself the money and DON’T EAT HERE!!!
EDIT: I’m responding to the owner’s comment because several parts of your reply are simply not true, and I want to clarify the facts clearly.
First, my reservation was for 14 people, not 10 and absolutely not 20+. I will be including screenshots that show the reservation details. Your own POS system would also confirm this so it’s unprofessional to make claims that contradict your own records. I also included a picture of the receipt that says for 14 people. I also included pictures of the group of 14 as well. Also the table was set up for 14, so you all knew about this reservation was for 14 not 10.
Second, the biggest issue was your lack of communication. I emailed, I called, and I even left a voicemail with all the details. I received no response from anyone. To now tell customers to “reach out” when I already did multiple times is frustrating and disappointing. This should’ve been an opportunity for your team to acknowledge that communication fell short.
Third, regarding the deposit, I had to contact my bank and dispute the charge myself because I never received the refund you claim was processed. if the refund was truly issued on your end, it never reached me and again, no one contacted me back to resolve it. Also too we were not offered to put anything on one bill. Our waiter already automatically split everyone’s check up. So if I was informed about that I would’ve put everything on one bill.
Finally, I am not “knowingly understating” anything. I’m sharing my real experience. It’s disappointing that instead of addressing the actual issues of communication and delays your response blames the customer and misrepresents what happened. I also too never met the owner so that is false and really odd to claim that. I only talked to our waiter who informed us about the deposit being refunded which again was FINE it was the fact I NEVER got it and had to dispute it, that’s not ok.
Lastly, I want to address your statement about being a Black-owned business. I am a Black woman, and that’s exactly why this is so disappointing. Supporting Black businesses also means holding them to a standard of honesty, accountability, and respect toward Black customers. Using your identity as a business to dismiss my concerns or imply that I’m being unfair is not appropriate. My review was honest, and my experience was real.

All though the atmosphere is very cozy, the food was not all that great very mediocre. I got the loaded fries with brisket and the brisket main meal the mac and cheese had no flavor and the food was all room temperature. The server took forever to bring out the check, almost 20
minutes, not my best experience.

When you enter, immediately the vibe is fluid. There’s a level of comfort and familiarity like when you’re at a family gathering. The food is addictive and the ambiance is elegant yet familiar. Feels like the sort of place you want to just get away from it all and chill for a good minute. Service staff is friendly and polite. Somewhere locals can easily call a home away from home.

We only had a 30mins time window to order & eat cause we were rushing somewhere, the food and drinks made it out fast hot tasty. Definitely coming back. The mocktails were $8 very affordable.

I really wanted to like this place, but our visit was a disaster from start to finish. Our food took over an hour to arrive, and when it finally came out, half of our order was cold. The server seemed overwhelmed and kept forgetting things we asked for — including basic silverware and plates, so we literally had food sitting in front of us that we couldn’t eat right away. Even when the server brought out plates and sliver ware, it was not enough, so two of our friends had to share a folk and a plate. The server completely neglected us.
After waiting that long, it was incredibly disappointing.
Between the slow service, missed orders, lack of essentials, and cold food, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Definitely not worth the time or money.

The ambiance, location, and service were hands down, Wonderful Just Beautiful The food was a disappointment. The main dishes were very salty and frankly not appetizing. Drinks were very nice and the appetizer, Elote, was great! The sweet potato side dish was very dry. I heard so much about them and was hoping for a great experience. Maybe it was an off day. I don’t know.
