We stop to get an order of them here and there on our way through from Grand Rapids to Newaygo.
I’ve always wanted to try the Pizza and last night we were at our friends retirement party that was right across the street. We talked about placing an order when we left, but to our surprise and delight, he had Stein deliver Pizza and Breadsticks.
Now we are talking over 100 people were there at any one time…. We are guessing he ordered around 15ish pizzas and multiple orders of bread sticks. All the pizzas looked perfectly cooked and the multiple ones our table tried were all delicious! I am not sure how they cooked that many pizzas and kept them so warm and fresh, but we were impressed and everyone enjoyed the food very much. The ingredients tasted so fresh, especially the mushrooms. I wish I would have taken a few photos, but I was too busy savoring every bite!
If you ever order, GET THE DILL SAUCE AND GET EXTRA!!
So thank you to Stein Brother’s for taking such good care of our friend Jason’s party and delivering such high quality pies. We are looking forward to placing another order very soon!
I ordered a large cinnamon stick and a large deluxe pizza. The cinnamon sticks were good, but the dipping sauce looked like it had been sitting in the cooler for far too long. As for the pizza, I specifically asked for no green peppers, but when I opened the box, it was covered in them.
Overall, the experience was unprofessional and unsanitary. I won’t be returning.
Boycotting this business due to angry owner. Ucello’s in Rockford is 10 minutes away and the food is much better.
Two issues: It was burnt almost to the point you couldn’t eat it. They must have pulled it out of the oven just in time. I admit, I did end up eating it mostly because I didn’t want to waste it. Secondly, it had a large thick crust around it, I assume to take up more space than anything. Not unusual these days…. Most of that I didn’t eat.
Overall flavor was ok, nothing special. Sorry to say I don’t see myself going back.
