Ok so I have very mixed feelings about this place. The food is really good and everything from what I have had is made from scratch. The owner is very nice and kind and approachable. It was a surprisingly good experience, but my one issue was unforeseen charges. Like 1) charging $1.00 for some ranch sauce to dip your onion rings in, 2) charging $0.5 for a to go box. I understand that business is tight and you have to charge for things, but please disclose these things. I have never been charged for a to go box at any restaurant, its just part of the cost of business in my opinion. Anyways I think the business could do better at disclosing these things. I know its awkward to inform people of the fact that to go boxes cost extra or the ranch sauce will cost extra, but otherwise just put this into your price of your items and charge an extra 0.75 per customer for main items. IDK, it just surprised me after the fact that I was charged these things and wanted to have a choice. I will try it again and check the menu to see if there are any disclosure of these things, but I feel like surprise fees are annoying otherwise I would have rated 4 or 5*s. I just didn’t like the feeling I had when I finally looked at the receipt after paying and had to pay for things I assumed were free and included in the prices shown on the menu. Maybe there is some fine print on the menu I missed, but surprise charges and fees don’t make me feel good because I didn’t have a say in the matter.

I love Kings Cafe. Their food is great, home style, and you know they are working hard to serve the community well. I have had lunch there a few times. This was the first breakfast and it did not disappoint. Thank you! It made a great place to be in Valentine’s Day. Love the new patriotic mural!

I went here a while, back with a bunch of family. The food is served in large portions and very good. The deep fried chicken gizzards were amazing and piping hot. I got their big burger that had all sorts of fixings on it. It was extremely good and everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was very good and attentive. I recommend The Kings Café.

We have NEVER had such AMAZING FOOD!!! From breakfast to lunch YOU WILL BE STUNNED WITH THE SELECTION ….THE TASTE AND PORTION! You will be leaving miserable….waddling AND HAPPY!!! My son usually has his meal gone and is dipping into others plates when at other restaurants but KINGS CONQUERED HIM!! He could only finish HALF of one of their breakfast burritos!! Everything is homemade….the bread is DELICIOUS….THICK AND FLUFFY! THEIR SCONES CAN FEED A SMALL COUNTRY!!! Homemade potato chips come out warm and delicious. AND THE SERVICE ….hometown friendly….you feel like you are at Nana’s house….they make sure you are 100% happy. The OWNER INCLUDED. She never fails to come chat with her customers!! If you have yet to visit and are looking for a good meal and good service without paying the price…COME SEE THEM AT KINGS!!

We were in town for two day… the first morning we went was the best breakfast we’ve had so far on a 3600 mile journey! The sausage patty was sizzled to perfection, the French toast made with cinnamon homemade bread, the service was amazing! We ordered off the senior menu and left food on the plate! We decided before leaving town we had to stop the second morning for breakfast as well and were not disappointed! Homemade donuts for the win!!! Thank you Kings Cafe!

I have friends who are regulars who keep telling me about the Texas nachos, I finally got the chance to try for lunch, and oh my, they are amazing. So good. I had to come back the next day and try the chicken fried steak for breakfast. Hands down one of the best restaurants, in my opinion. I can’t wait to bring my family. Rupert is lucky to have Kings Cafe.

Nice country restaurant with delicious homemade breakfasts. We shared a scone and cinnamon roll and had a breakfast burrito, waffles and garbage omelet. Very generous portions. We drove an hour from Snowville to have a decent meal on Sunday. It was worth the wait.

Went to get a quick coffee, since it is a sit down place when you check out it asks for tips. The owner I presume went to cancel the option to tip for me since I just got a coffee to go. Most places wouldn’t do that and I really appreciated it. Of course I left a tip in return. Great place great coffee
