I was traveling through this town with my wife. I always try to shop and buy local and thank the Lord I do. The breakfast we ate was so darn good that it’ll make a one legged fat woman tap dance! I highly recommend stopping and getting a bit to eat here. Everything tasted like homemade down south cooking. Love this place!!!

Could not have been more pleased with the service and food from Jerry J’s in Homerville Georgia!!! The lady at the counter I believe her name was April was so sweet and willing to help me. The sandwich was fresh and delicious! Thank you for such a pleasant visit

The stars given in this review is only because we were able to find a familiar place to eat on a Saturday while passing through. Location was good. The service was okay. As far as the food, it was basic. The mashed potatoes seemed to taste like instant and bland. My hamburger steak was flat as a pancake and also seemed like something microwaved.
The thing that bothered me the most was that our server brought out food to the table and turns out some of it wasn’t our food. After it sitting there about 5-7 minutes on our table, our server came back with the other round of missing food. They took back the food that wasn’t ours. We later noticed that it was the customers next to us that the food belonged to. They were actually handed the same food that was mistakenly put on our table to the other table. That is so unsanitary. Make sure when visiting here that you watch your food come straight from the kitchen to your table.

They brought someone else’s food to our table then took it back up to the counter, put it on another tray and served it to the people behind us. The Pepsi products and the Sweet Tea didn’t taste good. I ordered hamburger steak and it tasted bland

I always patronize businesses local to my location at least 3 or more times before reviewing them. I do this because, every business has an “off” day. I have actually ordered from this Jerry J’s <10 times in a 2 month period & with the exception of them forgetting to give me yum-yum sauce one visit, all other orders have been accurate. Their food is wonderful, fresh and reasonably priced. Customer service is EXCEPTIONAL!

So I love Jerry J’s, don’t get it twisted. Recently I’ve been here 3 times or so and every time I ask for BBQ sauce, they forget it. At first, I didn’t think much of it as accidents happen all the time, but then it happened again and I specifically asked for extra sauce, but they never put it in the bag. The pulled pork sandwich just didn’t taste as good without any sauce. I guess I just expected more, but I still love Jerry J’s I was just a little disappointed.

We have been going here the past 5 years to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner when it is hunting season. It has always been delicious. However the past couple months to a year it has been horrible. Ever since covid the restaurant has gone down hill. This town is not thriving like it was years ago. Alot of places have closed down and now with jerrys j’s being one of the only decent places to go it is dissapointing. I know they make alot of money off of out of town hunters but we are to the point of not going here anymore. The past 3 times we have gone here all of our orders have been wrong or missing parts of our orders. I dont understand how listening to someone tell you an order over the intercom is so difficult. I am not one to leave bad reviews but this place is going to put itself out of business. Not to mention they were recently only open until 2pm and with the piggly wiggly never having anything this is always the place to go eat. Now that its hunting season they are open until 8 but only in the drive thru. Its just a huge dissapointment all the way around. We have a really big hunting club and others have stopped coming here because of the bad service and we have all started to drive to waycross just like the locals we know. This town has changed so much in the past 5 years and its not for the better. Its dying and jerry j’s is going to be bext on the list of businesses that went out of business if they arent careful. Its a shame.
