Knowing what food service is like, I have tried to be compassionate about the service at this location. However, this place is infamous for their extremely long wait times and manages to get something wrong about my order every single visit. As if this wasn’t enough, one of my family members recently contracted food poisoning after having their chicken for dinner. This truly sealed the deal for me — won’t be returning ever.

This is the worst Popeye’s in the area. Multiple times, I have ordered online, drove to the restaurant and then still waited for 10 minutes for my food. Current clock from online order to pickup is 23 minutes.

Wish I read these before I stopped. Used to go here about 10 yrs ago. Didn’t care for this location then and I don’t care for it now. Whatever mgr you have at 530pm on today 11/6/2025 whom is the rudest employee ever! He refused to give me his name he act like he couldn’t hear me! Refuse to take a gift card that my brother took to the restaurant, when I’ve used many before!!& when I called to speak to manager he hung up on me 3 TIMES! Then I spoke to him in Spanish in case he did not understand and refused to give me corporate number! All he kept saying okay call, hello, hummmm how can I help you! This is so disturbing because my parents just arrived from town and we’ve lived in this town for over 50 years and my parents were craving for KFC. That’s the first request they asked this is unbelievable. The treatment I have received and how my brother was rejected to use this gift card at your location in West Chicago. I demand a call back or an email Because now where am I supposed to use this gift card and drive 30 minutes away from home with my elderly parents, I do not understand how you guys have that person as a manager.

Asked for crispy chicken. Was given soggy squishy nasty chicken and immediately almost puked it out after eating 1 bite. The chicken fell apart as soon as I even barely even touched it and tasted horrible. Will be contacting corporate. Unacceptable. We went through the drive through and waited almost an hour for our food. My wife had to go inside to follow up on our order, then after 45 minutes they told us they didn’t have any fries after we watched them serve order after order of fries. We complained about the fries and then they magically had fries? Then on the KFC bowl they just chopped up a chicken tender. Food is bad here and service is worse. Management sucks and the workers aren’t professional.

I made an online order today. I show up 5 minutes later than the automated email told me my order would be ready.
They didn’t recognize my name nor order when I showed up to the drive thru (they haven’t made my order yet), then tells me to wait at the front of the store where I waited for at least 20 minutes before I went into the lobby where I had to wait 10 more minutes for less than $30 worth of food.
Barely an apology for the wait and no accountability for not starting my order until I arrive and not telling me.
All in all, I had to wait 30 minutes after I arrived to pick up my online order that wasn’t started until I arrived. Had i been aware at the moment, I would’ve opted out of waiting 30 minutes for the order and got something else for dinner for me and my children.
Very poor service, customer service and regard for customers time.
