The Edison Cafe has been in operation since the early 1930’s. The cafe was previously a Texaco gas station. Since then, many businesses have operated out of this building including auto sales, penny candy, and ammunition sales for hunters. The cafe is now owned and operated by a local couple, Austin Breckenridge and Kiersten Weimer. The cozy and quaint Edison Cafe is unique in many ways. The lunch collaboration between the elementary school and the Cafe has continued since the 1940’s. A truly unique and heartwarming story. Come join us for lunch with friends, drink an Italian cream soda and listen to the locals tell stories.

The staff was kind and sweet too!
Worth a stop for sure.
PLUS – “A+” for their packaging choices. No plastic. Environmentally friendly!
The salad is a must!! I don’t usually order salads out (I make good ones at home) but this house salad is special. Try their vinaigrette, it went so well with the beets and chèvre. A big healthy salad is a refreshing balance to burgers, fries, and doughnuts.
Get the 5 piece ‘Bownuts’ to finish your meal. Next time, I’ll have to try mine with some ice cream.
The pancake was huge, fluffy, and very tasty. The over medium eggs were cooked perfectly. The bacon was crispy.
A very nice young couple owns it, stop by for a burger and say hi!
We were so hungry I forgot to take pictures of the food but it was very good. The server was very nice and on top of things.
I can’t wait to take our friends and try their breakfast.
