As an out of towner from a very rural area, this little Bistro made me second guess my choice to move out of the city of Pittsburgh. It’s such a cute little place in a cute town. Everything about it reminded me of my younger years before the internet took away the personalized touch of human interaction and food was real and good.
The Iceburgh’s Bistro’s team was so helpful and attentive which is something we don’t get in our rural town. The food was delicious and accommodating to our gluten free diets (we had the strawberry salmon salad). As the melodies of Jewel’s “Foolish Games” floated through the cafe, I watched friends and family sitting and talking in the beautifully clean atmosphere. I even put my phone down! My daughter and I had a memorable afternoon.
Memory is weird – who knows what you might be thinking about someday when you are bedridden at 100 years old? It might just be that small afternoon you sat in the Iceburgh’s Bistro laughing and talking with your teenage daughter. We need to make more memories so our last years are filled with good material to remember.

I get takeout here often. It’s my family’s go-to lunch option when we’re all home during the week. It’s about a 20 minute drive for me but worth it. The ingredients are always fresh and the portions are generous. Great prices as well. On top of that, they are consistent. I’ve never had a bad experience or an issue. Keep up the great work! Thanks for providing a healthy option in our area.

I don’t eat out much, but today I donated blood in Irwin and afterwards I felt a little sluggish. So I went in and ordered the soup and salad. I got the spinach with my choice of favorite toppings; corn, beets, mushrooms, sunflower seeds, almonds, peppers, and peas. I got the apple cider viniagrette dressing. I got the vegetable soup which was average (too much broth and not many vegetables). The salad ingredients were all fresh and delicious. Portions are generous.

I got the Pesto Chicken Sammie and my cousin got the Doug’s Salad. It was wonderful. Someone near me got the soup & salad and the soup was presented in a way that I want one next time (appeared to have little tortilla chips garnish!) Staff was fun and it was really clean! (Sidewalk was clear too and easy to navigate after a big snow)

They had great salads it was a build your own salad just like subway. The owner and staff was friendly and the salads were healthy and tasty. everything was clean and neat. I enjoyed everything. It is a great place for a healthy lunch.

This place is great! I created my own salad with all of my favorite options. The pickup was super easy and quick, and amazing prices! I’d love to be able to sit inside once COVID is over. I highly recommend for a healthy dinner or lunch!

I had been wanting to try Iceburghs for a while. Friends were all raving about their salads. Took my mother out to lunch there, and they didn’t disappoint! Soooo good…and the side breadsticks were the icing on the cake/salad. Lol The staff was so accommodating and friendly too.

I have celiac disease and I can’t eat gluten and have to be careful with cross contamination. They made me feel very safe, they even went out of their way to grab fresh ingredients from the back. I am eternally grateful for the tasty and safe food. I will definitely be back. I greatly appreciate people like the ones who work here!
