I ordered a large Pepporoni pizza with extra cheese. I think either 1) they forgot to add extra cheese or 2) their pizzas barely have any cheese.

Crust was okay, but pretty thin.

If you like a pizza with a decent amount of cheese, this won’t be the place. Barely enough cheese to cover the dough even with extra cheese.

This is honestly the BEST pizza I’ve ever had in my life. The salad was refreshing and great too. The pizza has flavor with a purpose! The customer service is so genuinely generous, I’ll be returning. First time at Sal’s and now I don’t think I’m ever going to go to another pizza place again. They’ve gained me as a very satisfied customer. Thank y’all for very much for your kindness, good food and service. My kids also loved this pizza so much. Good size and great quality.

Excellent pizza spot. Owner is a cool dude with an amazing story. Not sure how to explain it. The crust was soft but crispy did thin and perfect. The Bianca pizza is on par with any pizza I’ve ever had. I am from south Jersey and am very picky when it comes to pizza. If you’re in this area. Go to Sals.

This place was AMAZING- with the perfect atmosphere !! 1st we were able to sit right away. Than we were greeted immediately- drink orders taken and brought back quick. Food orders were taken and food was quick. We ordered a 16” pep n mushroom and a 12” White pizza— amazing doesn’t even describe it. My 10yo doesn’t really like pizza and hardly ever will eat it- well you ate almost the whole 12” white pizza! We were told the sauces are homemade every morning. Both pizzas were perfect with the best crust ever!!!! Prices not bad at all!!!
I rate it 10/10 and would 1000% recommend!!

I’ve only had the Philly cheese and Cajun fries so far but it’s amazing. The patatos have a unique taste nothing like fast food fries or five guys. Its a little pricy but that’s expected when you’re at the oceanfront. I overheard the Philly is halal so I guess that’s a plus for some. The people are friendly. I’d eat it as soon as you get it because the to-go trays can make the bread and fries soggy maybe punch some holes so the steam can escape

The pizza was good, and the slices were large. We got 4 slices of plain pizza for about $16. They were filling and the workers were really nice. They brought our pizza to our table but there were a lot of flies inside of the restaurant. There was plenty of seating, however. The pizza crust was thin but filling for a pre dinner, after beach, snack. I would go back.

17th Street Sal’s Pizza is an absolute delight, offering not only some of the best pizza in town but also an unforgettable dining experience. Nestled in a charming spot on 17th Street, Sal’s combines a cozy, inviting atmosphere with exceptional culinary craftsmanship. While their pizza is renowned, it’s their chicken alfredo that truly stole the show for me.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the friendly staff, making me feel right at home. The decor is a delightful blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, creating the perfect ambiance for a relaxed meal. It’s clear that Sal’s has a loyal following, with a lively buzz of satisfied customers enjoying their meals.

Now, onto the star of the show – the chicken alfredo. This dish is a masterpiece. The fettuccine noodles are cooked to al dente perfection, providing the ideal texture that holds the creamy sauce beautifully. Speaking of the sauce, it’s a rich, velvety Alfredo that strikes a perfect balance between creamy indulgence and delicate flavor. The addition of tender, perfectly cooked chicken elevates the dish, adding a hearty, savory element that complements the pasta and sauce exquisitely. You can tell it’s made from high-quality ingredients, with a blend of cheeses that adds depth without being overpowering.

What truly sets Sal’s chicken alfredo apart is the attention to detail. The dish is garnished with freshly grated Parmesan and a sprinkle of parsley, adding a touch of elegance and enhancing the flavors. It’s a generous portion, making it great value for money, and perfect for sharing or indulging on your own.

Pairing this dish with their homemade garlic bread is a must. The bread is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and infused with just the right amount of garlic and butter, complementing the pasta perfectly. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors that left me craving more.

The service at 17th Street Sal’s is impeccable. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience was top-notch. Despite the bustling environment, the staff remained friendly and efficient, making sure every guest felt valued.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, 17th Street Sal’s Pizza is a culinary gem that should not be missed. Their chicken alfredo is a testament to their commitment to quality and flavor, making it a standout dish that I will definitely return for. If you’re looking for a place that offers a warm atmosphere, outstanding service, and delicious food, Sal’s is the place to be. Highly recommended!

In the quiet ambiance of the seaside eatery on 17th Street, I found myself presented with a sandwich that could only be described as a culinary revelation. This Philly cheesesteak, a harmony of textures and flavors, transcends the ordinary with the daring addition of pepperoni and mushrooms, mingling gracefully with the tender slices of beef and the vibrant crunch of green peppers. The whisper of mayonnaise and the subtle undertones of a mysterious, proprietary seasoning elevate this creation to the sublime. It is a testament to the chef’s ingenuity and mastery that such a humble dish can evoke such profound pleasure. Truly, it is a masterpiece that could evoke nostalgia in even the most jaded palate.

Food was average, service was good but the atmosphere is basic and not aging well. Cheese pizza was nothing special, the Chicken Alfredo was huge but a little bland as well. Price was high for what was. Extra cheese pizza (large = 14 inch) was on special for $9.99. Chicken Alfredo was $14.99 and the chicken parm sub was around $11 and 2 drinks for almost $5. Not worth almost $50 for 4 people.

This is a fast food place so it is not fine place, but they sell a pasta, salad and an extremely delicious garlic bread. I have visited other 4 star restaurants and the garlic bread has been given to me raw. However here they sell it well cooked, toasted and crispy. God Bless You
