I would love to had told you about the food but when I arrived, I walked up to the counter and waited to be helped. They had a few orders but nothing seemed “busy” the store had two guests eating at a table other than that the only two folks I saw were in the kitchen facing me and both looked up and saw me. Didn’t say anything. Waited 3 more minutes same thing. Not a single word, so I walked out. Like really guys?

Called because my order which was projected to be delivered by 6:30 came at 7:15pm, cold and uncut- delivered via DoorDash despite ordering directly from the store as I had just done an hour before. During the call I heard the young man on the phone laughing and saying there was no way they didn’t cut the pizza and was subsequently told they could only do store credit since I ordered DoorDash. I did not order DoorDash- I suspect you guys are outsourcing delivery due to high volume orders. Very unprofessional that the manager sent this young kid to reiterate the information to me and then I was hung up on or the call disconnected. See the picture as proof that the pizza was UNCUT.

Donatos is a wonderful quality pizza, we order from this location frequently for dinner and lunch. The staff is always friendly and hard working but the pandemic has taken its toll on staffing so be patient and check your order. This time my pizza was about 20 minutes past it’s quoted time and the first time it was made wrong (which I nearly missed until I checked going out the door)
The inside has been remodeled which will be great once it’s finished.

My wife ordered some pizza for us and chicken for our son. Initially, they only delivered the chicken, but when we got our pizza re-delivered, the pizza tasted HEAVILY of cigarettes. Like someone hotboxed with it. I didn’t believe it at first, but legitimately the pizza tasted like cigarette smoke
I get it if you need to step out on a smoke break, but please don’t do it in the car with someones food. My wife is pregnant and couldn’t eat it at all and frankly I was not very pleased with it either.
I think we’re going to stick to with another location from now on. Almost a total waste of money we could’ve used anywhere else.

A really special space! The history location is really nice. Beautiful fireplace and a nice community room. This Donatos location is a fun space to meet up after the game or drive thru in your way home. They are located in an area with entrances and exits to multiple roads allowing for easy in and out options.
The pizza is the same great Donatos you can expect from this famous pizza shop.
Founders Favorite and cheese are my families favorites…but the chicken mariachi comes close.

The Donatoes Gahanna/New Albany on Rt. 62 is abysmal. Their slogan “every piece counts” is only true if you like cold, dry pizza with scant toppings. The staff seems to be untrained and uncaring. Management does not respond. The attached pictures show how a pizza was delivered to my Mother. She called and they insisted it was delivered. She’s 93 and the weather was bad. She doesn’t go outside it should have been delivered to the front door. Finally got a refund but will never order from them again. Quality issues have an issue for several years.

Customer service wasn’t great. They were backed up for some reason, and there was 15 people on the store waiting for their orders. Instead of coming out and explaining what the issue was, the employees ignored everyone for quit some time.

Check before leaving. They tried to give me a 20 oz in place of a 2liter. However, it was corrected once I brought to her attention.
The cypress salad portions are very small compared to the Italian salads.
