I am so excited to find Yet Wah for the first time and so grateful they are open til midnight! They have great decor and lighting for a Chinese restaurant, and a full bar! We ordered the Kung Pao Scallops (without the green bell pepper, which they were happy to accommodate). The scallops were so tender and fresh tasting, and the portion was generous for a $21 dish of scallops, onion, water chestnuts, slices of crunchy seaweed and peanuts. We also ordered the spicy garlic eggplant which was a huge portion and melted in our mouths. The sauce is the traditional sweet, tangy and spicy which they got in pretty good balance with the piping hot eggplant. It’s great to know about this place. The menu is huge so much to keep coming back for. And our server (from Goa surprisingly) was super sweet and friendly.
I would only recommend them changing out two white lightbulbs that were out of theme with all the others of a softer warm tone. I’m sensitive to lighting so I noticed immediately and wanted to point that out because it’s much more inviting to have the consistent warm tone, and so rare for a Chinese restaurant to care about lighting at all.
Lastly, I’d recommend at least a little red glass jar with a LED candle in it on each table as decor. The tables are bare and need something.
I will be back though regardless!

The waiter was very friendly and I enjoyed my meal there. Within the restaurant it was pretty nice and had some good decor. The food was pretty average. I got some fried wontons and they had little to no filling. The beef fun chow was good though.

Nice people with fantastic service. I got the hot and sour soup, and it’s so good! Very spicy, it’s perfect! I got it Togo and didn’t open the soup for about 40 minutes after receiving it, and it was somehow still steaming hot. I will be enjoying their dining area next time, it’s dim lit inside and very pretty.

Friday night and came in with my girlfriends and sat at the bar. Order some yummy appetizers (Eggrolls, potstickers, & chicken salad) and some drinkies from the full bar. Service was quick & friendly. We were able to chat and catch up without being rushed to leave. The manager was sweet and checked in on us and we had a good chat with him too. Would definitely come again!

Food is very generic and average, wasn’t wowed simply. A whole in the wall will suit anyone that’s not a family or party better. Service was great and people are very polite. Restaurant has a nice, comfortable feel to it but still upscale.

I had a major craving for hot and sour soup so I picked some up at Yet Wah since they’re open later than most other places. It was the most disappointing hot and sour soup I have ever had. The soup was bland, it lacked that signatire tang that you expect from this dish. There were long slices of yellow onion in it that were crunchy and nearly raw. Most shocking were the tiny shrimp in it, they’re like the shrimp that come in a Cup of Noodle. The texture tells me they were previously dried and they tasted like fish food. Not even Panda Express would try to pass that off onto their customers. This is clear proof that they don’t care and they don’t know how to cook. I will never eat there again and I urge you to stay away as well.

Amazing staff- friendly, helpful, polite- had the opportunity to meet the owner- a true gentleman. The food is unreal- best I’ve had in the area- from the appetizers to the entrees everything is healthy, flavorful, and well -balanced- the desserts are the perfect ending to an evening of good food- the portion sizes are by far superior to any other restaurant I’ve been to in the area- and all at a good price! The atmosphere is clean and inviting, with perfect lighting and ambiance- perfect for a family night out or a date night!

GREAT special occasion venue for small group!Comfortable semi-private Sunday lunch of 13 people, tables are partitioned off from the main restaurant area. Owner Simon was very helpful multiple times by phone regarding menu choices (“How spicy is it? What are the ‘tender greens’?”) and table arrangements (we chose 2 round tables with ‘lazy Susan’ servers, but could have used one large oval table if desired). Simon welcomed us to arrive early to decorate. I super appreciated being able to discuss questions since we live far away. Everyone thought the food was delicious. Princess Garden Chicken Salad, Steak Cubed with Tender Greens (we chose bok choy), Sweet & Sour Pork, Peking Duck with Buns, Glazed Walnut Prawns, Spinach with Garlic Sauce, Ice Cream. The “glazed walnut prawns” were fried crispy and not covered with white sauce. We actually liked them this way, but if you want yours more sticky, you could ask. Also, the Peking Duck was cut and not all of the breast pieces were separated from bone. If you want all the breast pieces to be boneless so it is simpler to lay the meat on the steamed bun, you should request that. We would gladly plan another gathering at Yet Wah.

*DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY*
*Fried wontons had almost NO MEAT inside
* the szechuan chicken was extremely dry and obviously old
* I orderd “fried chicken wings” as it’s written on the menu and instead got fried chicken drum sticks ???? With only half the meat on it
*I was charged $51.36 and for what I received I got scammed
I can’t even make this up
