The best Japanese restaurant in Squamish!! The interior was beautiful and spacious. We got the Blue Sea roll, sashimi, geso karrage, and tempura. Everything was so yummy and portions were very generous! The sashimi was especially so fresh. The servers and owners were friendly and attentive, making my experience here one of the highlights of my trip to Squamish.

Phenomenal sushi restaurant. Menu items are fairly priced, the chefs are very skilled, and the seafood is very fresh. I also highly recommend their miso soup. The Sapporo on tap is delicious.
Thank you as well so much to Wondae, whose friendly service always made me wanted to stay longer.

Food presentation was good! Looks appetizing. Rice was a bit too mushy, almost like a mochi consistency. Miso soup was the best we’ve had in town

I had ChatGPT summarize what the negative reviews were about… they had nothing to do with the food. Someone actually gave them a negative review because they wouldn’t let their dog in. I’m sincerely so tired of these entitled people. With that said…
The sushi was incredibly fresh and tasty. It took everything in me to not devour each piece, which I tried to savor for as long as possible. The service was great, and the only reason why anyone would complain about it was probably when it was super busy and they might’ve been understaffed.
This place is a gem, definitely check it out .

The best sushi restaurant in town! I came here for lunch and ordered the assorted sashimi, blue sea role and the appetizer tempura. The sashimi was so fresh and the pieces they give you are huge!! The blue sea roll was also very filling and the tempura was crispy. The staff were also so friendly and attentive, making the restaurant atmosphere very welcoming.I will definitely come back again

They claim that they are the best sushi in Squamish and I have no doubt, they are really good! Food are tasty, service is fast and friendly. The only dish I didn’t enjoy much is the unagi roll, it was a little cold and slimy. But they still deserve a 5 stars for their service

Reasonably priced, and pretty good sushi!
I usually get take out – however dined in for the first time recently.
Service was average. The server did not seem to care when we told her about the black particulates frozen in our ice cubes and the main chef doesn’t wear a mask for a portion of the time while preparing the food.
I’ll stick to take out next time.

Very chinese / western. The furthest from Japanese ive had yet. The Yakisoba was super disgusting. It had bokchoy, way too much garlic, chunks of mushrooms (which was very unexpected) also the noodles were cheap and nasty, there was way too many bean sprouts. Also the Tunabelly dish was a mushy mess. It tasted extremely garlicy even though garlic wasnt listed in the item on the menu. I will never go back there to eat, for over 40$ i couldn’t even finish cuz it was so nasty. Would recommend people avoided this place if good japanese food is what you’re looking for /wanting. Sushi Sen is NOT it. Definitely not worth the money.

Service was amazing and food came out really fast. Sashimi was fresh and each piece was mouthful. I was also really impressed by the blue sea roll and the tempura, both were super delicious! A very cozy place that you definitely need to pay a visit when you’re in town.
