An amazing new jazz club / piano bar / cocktail lounge in the heart of town.
3rd floor, above YoSake. There is an elevator, although I never found it! And there was a nice menu of charcuterie and appetizers, although I did not have any.
Great lounge seating— sofas, club chairs, and bar stools with backs — so you can sit all night and listen to the live music. (Piano, bass, singer when we stopped in). Nice crowd of well dressed people. Feels very upscale although interestingly, the drinks are inexpensive.

I enjoyed my Gin Smash. This place is styling. I love the atmosphere, couches and interior design of this establishment. What a cool cocktail bar. We came back the 2nd night and enjoyed some desserts: raspberries and creme and pear ricotta cake. I had some wine that was good.

Sometimes a girl’s gotta treat herself. Love stopping in at Tempo in the evening for great music and good vibes but I also enjoy an early evening glass of champagne with a perfect shrimp cocktail. Staff is friendly and hospitable just the same if I come in with people, on a date or just taking myself out and that is very appreciated.

We have been here 4 times in the past 3 weeks. This is most definitely NOT a piano bar. The owners would be better served to change to a jazz bar. . The acoustics are terrible and do a disservice to the pianist and singer and any real musician. bartenders are great but not one…. in 4 visits… have introduced themselves or asked our names. This is not hard to get right. Lots of potential but hope owners can refine opening jitters to clarify what they want to really be. Felt like same old Wilmington bar nothing special. Again, we loved the bartenders but train them on how to build repeat customers. So much potential!
