The patties are burnt, crispy and empty of filling! Dont buy from here, and I can’t take them back because I was told that they all look exactly the same as the one I bought, and to check back tomorrow for better ones. Never!! There is a Jamaican restaurant across the street and another the opposite corner, one is called Red Hills, the other is Palm Tree Caribbean. They have excellent patties!! With filling inside and not burnt and dry.

I ordered a small oxtail with rice and peas, cabbage, and cocoa bread. Unfortunately, they were out of mac and cheese. I don’t usually go for oxtail, but it was actually really good. I think I’ll come back to try the jerk chicken next time. The rice and peas were the best I’ve had in the area, but the cabbage needed a little more seasoning—so I added some Cajun seasoning and hot sauce, and it hit the spot. The cocoa bread was soft and fluffy. Most importantly, the service was top-notch—I was welcomed with warm and enthusiastic energy.

Absolutely phenomenal. This Jamaican restaurant doesn’t just serve food—it throws flavor a party and invites your soul. Every bite is bold, smoky, spicy, and deeply comforting, like it was cooked with generations of love and zero shortcuts. The jerk is perfectly balanced (heat + spice + tenderness = chef’s kiss), the oxtail is fall-off-the-bone rich, and the sides deserve their own standing ovation—especially the rice and peas. You can taste the authenticity, the patience, and the pride in every dish. If you believe food should make you close your eyes and nod silently at the table, this place is a must. Come hungry, leave happy, and plan your next visit immediately.

Came here last night for some jerk chicken! I wasn’t feeling well and wanted some comfort food! It was dry, old and a huge disappointment! I went back today and explained that to the woman who served me previously!!! Her response was warm welcoming and sincere! Not only did she apologize but she replaced my order with a free order of jerk chicken. THIS will always be my spot and just because they got it wrong one time doesn’t stop me from going back… Thank you

They don’t even deserve one star. The soup was watery and completely bland. My husband threw it straight in the trash before I could even take a picture. This place can’t even be called a restaurant. They either need to hire a real cook or close permanently. There is nothing authentic about this being labeled a Jamaican restaurant. This is, by far, the worst food I have ever eaten in my life.

I absolutely love this place! The jerk chicken is hands down the best I’ve ever had—perfectly seasoned, smoky, and so tender. Every bite is packed with authentic Jamaican flavor. But what really makes this spot special is Ms. Julian. She always greets me with the warmest smile and makes me feel right at home. Her kindness and hospitality truly set the tone for an amazing dining experience. If you’re looking for delicious Jamaican food with a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be!

First off I did enjoy my food… I had the Med Jerky Chicken meal with a side order of the Mac and cheese.. everything was delicious and plentiful esp for a medium.. I was disappointed that they were out of plantains.. I almost left there and went across the street to the other Jamaican spot. I decide to give them a chance and I was not disappointed by the food I received. Service was fast but the cashier could have been more inviting and friendly. The cook seemed nice. I like that he offered me different options of gravy to go over my rice. The atmosphere need an upgrade.. typically it it not somewhere that I would feel comfortable sitting and eating. The Yard Vibes were definitely missing from the decor. Other than that I will definitely return and hopefully next time they will have plantains. I am not Jamaican my taste buds are American and as an American I approve.

If you like Caribbean / Jamaican food. You have to try and eat here. If you don’t like the food here, you dont know good Jamaican food. And if you still don’t like it, send your friends and family here, they will.
On top of that, its rare the owner of a place makes you feel like you were invited in, vs just welcoming people who walk in. She is a Gem amongst owners and if you take the time to talk to her also, you will love this place.
Places like this, deserve your patronage.
