Literally the worst experience my boyfriend and I have ever had. DO NOT MOVE HERE!! I do not care how much space you get and that the rent is cheap it is a hell scape. First of all the rent being very affordable was null and void because I got charged 400/month for electric which was charged through the building and I was not a direct ever source customer so essentially we were scammed. We reported the building to PURA and it was uncovered that the meter reports were not up to state standards.

The lobby smells disgusting all the time, homeless people come into the building, there are bugs of many varieties but most importantly there are bed bugs. We reported the bed bugs and an exterminator came, but was entirely ineffective as we saw bed bugs again two weeks later. We ended up self sealing our own unit with chemicals and duct tape until we finally moved out about a month after the initial siting. Management doesn’t care about you, maintenance sucks, AC was broken all summer and my electric was still 400/month. There are always issues recurring after maintenance “fixes” them. Just for the love of god save yourself the trouble. Also you have to pay to park at minimum 130/month to have your car close by.

Bedbugs resulted in the loss of our mattress and bed frame, elevator was constantly broken, and they stole my security deposit and continued to charge me rent after I moved out at the end of my lease due to a hidden “auto-renew” feature (RENTERS, BEWARE). Someone even tried to break into my apartment because the security was so bad — I had to call the police. Truly a terrible experience.

Yolanda, Maria, Jeanie are three of the most laziest property managers on Earth. This place is INFESTED with roaches. They do not care. The 9th floor leaks every time it rains. They do not care. The elevators are always down. They do not care.

These people are the worst. Avoid at all costs. You are better off sleeping in the backseat of your car.

Do NOT move here. I repeat do NOT move here. They will lie about the apartment building. The security guard is not security, the do nothing. Homeless people have lived in the basement and threatened residents when asked to leave. The building management will do NOTHING about major issues. I saw a baby roach in my apartment mid July and placed a work order for the exterminator. No one got back to me and it took a couple days of calling the property management company asking for the exterminator to call for them to get me the exterminator. I now have started seeing grown roaches in the lobby and hallway. I have placed work orders and called management asking if they will do anything about this but have heard nothing back. The square footage and large W/D are great but the pests are not. I understand we live in the downtown area but the management not having the exterminator come quickly to my apartment or do any type of pest mitigation in the public areas is unacceptable. I can’t wait for my lease to end in November

My experience with the apartments at 915 thus far are great. Alicia that works for the property group helped me every step of the way to get in quickly and smoothly. The apartments are huge!! A lot of apartment for your dollar- everything is kept clean- lobby, elevators and hallways. Nice neighbors and the location is perfect for grabbing a few drinks and food after work. Everything you need is within a block or two.

I strongly recommend this apartment building and/or property group.

Sadly, as some of the reviews below state, I would give this apartment a zero, if I could. I too disregarded the horrible reviews thinking the affordability would be worth it.

It. Is. NOT. Worth. It.

In the 15 months I have lived here, I have filed nearly 30 work orders, only some ever being addressed. The management company just marks the work order complete once it has been a few months. The issues with this building range from sporadic and inconvenient fire alarm malfunctions, non-working elevators, and backed up trash removal to habitually stolen packages, roach infestations, poor plumbing, and much more. To make matters worse, management is either unhelpfully aggressive or nonresponsive–depending on the day.

Save your energy, money, and peace of mind.

Slumlords. They refuse to operate the HVAC in their buildings correctly, we have had multiple roach and infestation issues, and the building refuses to even fix their gym equipment. For example, the rowing machine in the basement has been broken for 2 and a half years. They will not do anything about it.

The heating and air conditioning only work one at a time, meaning that in October (when it’s still 70 degrees here), they turn off the AC. This doesn’t seem so bad until you realize the building is a brick oven and temperatures within apartments reach 80 degrees.

Never ever, no matter what, live here. The rent here is cheaper than most places in Downtown Hartford. IT IS CHEAPER FOR A REASON. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE, which the rats that live in the building will give you considering the building won’t hire exterminators!

$1640/month for 2 bed/2 bath and 1500/square feet is not worth it for this building in my opinion. The people and bus station in front of the main entrance are not friendly, the utilities are a large hidden fees, elevator outages, packages stolen, cockroaches in the units and basement, uncomfortable temperatures for weeks on end, dog waste and vomit in common areas sometimes. Poor management unfortunately does not make up for the square footage, marble counters, reliable appliances (other than AC which has constant issues).

0/10, absolutely do not recommend! There’s a reason their reviews are terrible across the board. Alicia was extremely unprofessional & unresponsive, she also kept a money order for a credit check that was never processed & ignored me when I asked for it back. You would think the people in the offices are swamped by how unresponsive they are but then you walk in the office & they’re doing absolutely nothing.. just sitting on their phone. Try somewhere else! These people are trash & if you do, hopefully you don’t get stuck with Alicia. She was a nightmare to deal with.

These apartments have marble counters and standard appliances however after the visual appeal of the
apartment wears off there is very little to desire about the building or the management company PMC. They
are either non-responsive to complaints or they try to brush you off. Here is a list of things I have complained
about, and there have been no changes in the 2 years I have been here.
1. Safety and security there is no doorman during the daytime hours only from 6pm -5am
—this allows for people to get into the building who do not belong in the building
— The door is constantly left propped open allowing anyone to access the building.
—- there are personal trainers that do not live in the building bringing their clients in to work out, who are also
not residents of 915 Main
— I have had teenagers smoking pot in the hallways
— Random people using our lobby to hang out and leave garbage behind
— In the fire exits there are often ciggerate buts and alochol bottles. For over a month there was vomit on the
floor.
2. There is only one key coded that gives access to the appartements and the small gym in the basement.
3.The postal service won’t even leave packages at your door due to recent thefts, then other times packages
are left outside the residential part of the building.
4. The Elevator is constantly breaking down, and now one of the 2 has been broken for almost 2 months the
company does not plan to fix it.
5. The fire alarms go off frequently
6. It has turned into a Dormitory there is constantly students in the hallways in the common areas and they do
not clean up after themselves.
