Love this family owned ice cream shop! They have a wonderful menu selection though on this trip we just got basic cones. Their homemade ice cream is easily one of the best I have ever had, it’s so creamy and had such a great flavor. I personally got the cherry nut which was amazing and had large pieces of fresh cherry. The shop it’s very nice and clean. Love that it is family owned and operated. The staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with the menu. We will be stopping here any time we are in the area, and I highly recommend it to anyone else.

The Ice Cream is made from the dairy product of the Stalder Family Homestead Dairy Farm across the river in Ohio! The Ice cream must be good because 61 people/customers came & went in the span of 35 minutes, while we enjoyed ice cream nirvana. (yes I counted) The ON SITE made ice cream is absolutely stupendous! It is made with ALL FRESH ingredients prepared by hand on site! We also had the Chili Dogs. The dog sauce was unique & perfect, yet they will not sell it for take home use. All in all a wonderful place for an off state route 2 excursion. Visit New Martinsville’s historic Main Street & indulge in a sweet treat.We will never pass thru again without stopping for this heavenly frozen treat. DO NOT MISS this the Stalder Family Creamery. Trust us you will unknowingly regret not giving yourself this wonderful treat. Grand opening was spring 2019.

Most excellent ice cream! Wide selection of flavors. We tried Tractor Tracks, a mix of chocolate, brownie and cookie dough, yummy. The blackberry cooler, another homerun. And salted caramel also very delicious. Seating area with a nice parlor feel and several games for the kids and adults. This will be a regular summer cruise for ice cream.

We love the Stalder Family Creamery! My wife and I like to stop every time we are back in New Martinsville visiting family. We typically just stop for a couple scoops of ice cream but this time, we had a cup of coffee and enjoyed one of their panini’s. I work remotely, and needed to get some work done, so they let me sit down and stay for awhile to enjoy the shop, watch Main Street traffic, and get some work done. Our visit was over the Easter holiday, so I ordered a snicker’s ice cream cake as my gift to the family. Let’s just say that the whole family loved it, as it was quickly devoured. Their ice cream flavors are a combination of unique and ice cream shop staples. Thanks for investing in the New Martinsville downtown, Stalder family! You definitely make it a brighter place.

We were visiting New Martinsville for a wedding and this place came highly recommended by the bride and groom. Luckily, we had a few hours to kill before the wedding, so we stopped in, and, WOW, what a treat! This place had THE MOST AMAZING ice cream we’ve ever tasted in our entire lives! The girls at the counter were so sweet, welcoming, and patient with us as we decided on the flavors we wanted. They kindly gave us as many samples as we wanted before making a choice, which made my father-in-law’s day, and each flavor blew us away by how delicious it was. The best part, though, was that the texture of the ice cream was absolute perfection! It’s probably a good thing we live almost four hours away because otherwise I’d be eating so much ice cream that I’d have to be rolled out the front door! Ha ha! Hmm… I wonder if they would ship it? Yes, it’s that good!
