I had such a good meal and conversation and Bangla Kitchen! The owners are so nice and offer a homey feeling of Bangladesh and its cuisine. So nice to try various sweets and the delicious menu options. My favorite sweets are the chomchom mishtis. Would definitely recommend to everyone!!!

I drove from downtown Houston with high expectations for authentic iftar items and kacchi biryani. I was happy to wait approximately 30 minutes while the kitchen prepared orders ahead of mine, and the ladies working at the counter were exceptionally friendly and courteous.
Unfortunately, the kacchi biryani did not meet the same standard. For $16, the portion contained only two small pieces of meat and less than a quarter of a potato. Additionally, the rice tasted slightly burnt, most likely from the bottom of the cooking vessel.
As someone who actively seeks out and wants to support Bangladeshi restaurants in Houston, especially given how few there are. I was disappointed by the quality of this dish. I hope the kitchen team will review portion sizes and cooking consistency to ensure customers receive the value and experience they expect. I truly believe stronger attention to these details will help the restaurant thrive and earn the loyalty of customers like me who are eager to support it.
