My first visit to the “new” Gigi’s since they were in their original, small, 1-room restaurant…honestly a few years now.
I visited during a weekday, later lunch time, and was seated promptly as there were many available seats. Food & drink service were quick and my meal was delicious—and, while a side, the beans were some of the best I’ve had. I even had the option of flour vs corn tortillas to accompany my meal—truly amazing—and I selected corn, as if there’s ever a question which is better!
Rather than a coke, I noticed they had some other menu options so, I went with a refreshing horchata and was not disappointed! While my meal was more than enough to fill me, I asked about dessert—specifically, flan. Sadly for me, my waitress said they no longer offered flan on the menu as not enough customers would order this. Come on, people, wake up! Hopefully flan will return someday in the future. Sí Uds. visitan, no van a salir con hambre. Pidan el flan!

Passing thru ohio. We decides to give this restaurant a try. We ordered the Chicken with pineapple and the churros. The food was very delicious and the staff was very friendly.

Food was good. Be sure to check your bill for draft beer charges if you are there during the happy hour of 3 to 6. I had 2 draft beers and was charged $15.31. It should have been $7.98. When I asked about it, they only changed one to 3.99, the other to 6.99 because was delivered after 6 pm. It was order 20 minutes before 6. We were all wondering why our drinks were taking so long, when we kept seeing our waitress, now we know. Check your bill carefully!

Picked up lunch here a couple days ago. I ordered a burrito norteno, and I was quite happy with the experience.
The burrito was large and stuffed full of protein. You definitely get a good value with the portion size. There was a ton of flavor and the meat was so tender and just fell apart.
The rice was fine. I wouldn’t say it was anything incredible, but it was more than good enough as a side for the burrito.
Happy with my experience here. Will be back.

Ordered Chori chicken for lunch today. It was quite tasty. It was seasoned well, and the Chorizo meat had a lot of flavor. The pineapple really makes this dish shine. Also, I really like their queso.

If you’ve not been, stop in and give them a try. The food is amazing. My first time and I’m sure I will be back. You can’t get better authentic Mexican food anywhere. The portion sizes are great you will have enough to take home with you. It’s clean and the staff is friendly. You will no be disappointed. It’s also affordable which you can’t say about most places anymore.

I left Mansfield in December of ’81 & been in Texas every since. So finding good Mexican food (what we refer to as TexMex) is hard to do in Mansfield. Overall the place is authentic and clean, the service is great (the robo server was keen) and the food was good. The flour tortillas were the best, the queso chorizo was very good because they use a white cheese, and the dishes were served hot a fresh. My dad and I had the famous Molcajete. Big enough for 2 people. We asked that they cut the meat up in strips. Very good flavors. Now, AJ, she deserves all the props for putting up with a demanding guest like me.

This place has amazing food, great service! I feel that I’m picky about certain food. I’ve tried several different items and everything was fantastic. The restaurant is very clean, the music was a nice listen. Gigi’s has officially became my favorite new restaurant and will be on my weekly visit list. Don’t take my word for it. Come check it out for your self.

I’ve had 4 different items off of their menu and they have all been amazing. But the Chori Chicken is absolutely amazing. They have a great bar and the strawberry margarita’s are really good too. The owner Gigi is always running around making sure that the guests have really good food and they are happy. The servers are top notch also. If you want Mexican food in Mansfield Gigi’s is the spot to go in my opinion.
