What a HIDDEN GEM in downtown Omaha. Our first time to the area so we thought that the bar was on the main level on Harney Street. Showed up to the location and were greeted by a very friendly guy who asked the question.. “do you guys medicate?” Hmm…an Irish bar that also medicates…a full service bar lol. We quickly realized that we were talking to someone from the Wellness Boutique and that the Dubliner Pub was actually downstairs. Walked down the stairs not knowing what to expect, opened the door and we were greeted by a very friendly bouncer. The bar atmosphere immediately gave genuine Irish bar vibes with low ceilings and lots of green lighting. The biggest win of the night was that they actually had Guinness on tap! There is plenty of space since the bar has two separate areas, the main area and a secondary area for live music. Had great conversation with a local guy named Chase. Fantastic experience overall.

Really cute spot, but don’t recommend renting for events. We paid a couple hundred dollars to rent out the side room for a few hours, but the band playing later began wandering in and taking over the space we were using 3 hours early. I guess they were supposed to start right at our end time, but whoever is in charge of booking didn’t realize that bands need time to set up. There were also a couple super drunk dudes that just mosied in and made some of the girls uncomfortable. I fully recognize that the bartenders were at capacity, but if you can’t staff to accommodate parties, don’t accept them and take their money.

Zach is an amazing bartender. I’m a light weight and asked him to make me a surprise drink based off what I like. He didn’t hesitate and he made me the perfect drink. I do this at a lot of bars and they normally need two or three tries to get it right but not here. Everyone in the bar were so friendly and gave us great suggestions for places to visit and eat while we were in town. Definitely stopping by anytime I need a drink when I’m in town.

More of a college scene so was a bit overcrowded.
Hard to get a drink as there were 2 bartenders and they were busy.
Musician was amazing with great vocals! This was the main reason we visited this bar.
