Met a friend for lunch. Placed my order at the deli counter, walked over to checkout and my order was ready. I enjoyed the most delicious chicken salad stuffed tomato. Isn’t always a fun place to grab lunch as I have a few friends working there.

This is exactly what you want if you are looking for a hole in the wall sandwich shop with great food, above and beyond service,, and extremely affordable prices. I was so impressed with the kindness of the staff as well the food choices (bacon cheddar meatloaf). Its the perfect mix of southern hospitality and food innovation. If you are in Danville do yourself a favor. It’s refreshing to hear people say “Thank you for coming in, and have a good day”, and know that they mean it.

Love the baked potato salad here, it’s great. The sandwiches are nice too. I don’t think I saw any hot sandwiches though- might be a nice add. Maybe I just missed them. Either way- if you’re looking for a decent sandwich, you won’t be disappointed.

Local deli, fresh made sandwiches right in front of you, clean, and friendly. Be sure to ask if they have any specials. Today they had egg salad. I found our when the customer behind me ordered it. I was a little sad about my blt after hearing my favorite was available. My husband had the roast beef and cheddar, it was a good size sandwich with a lot of meat on an onion bun. They have a choice between Pepsi and coke products. They gave us a delicious home made cookie for being a first time customer. The ladies were wearing gloves and they had a health department score of 100! The home made chicken noodle soup was delicious!
