Such an amazing first experience at Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls! Everything was SO good light, fresh, and incredibly satisfying. We tried the lobster mac, the grilled cheese shredded lobster sandwich, the shrimp roll (which was my absolute favorite ), and the clam chowder, and every single bite was delicious.

The staff truly made the experience even better. Since it was our first time, the guy at the front went in depth explaining the menu, helped us decide, and was just genuinely kind. When we asked for water cups, he even brought them to our table, and they brought our food out, explained each item, and told us we made great choices which honestly felt so welcoming.

Yes, it’s a little on the pricey side, but totally worth it as a fun splurge. Amazing food, great service, and such a positive first visit. We’ll definitely be back!

This was our first time at Masons for lobster rolls and we had a great experience. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by the staff and shown the menu offerings. I went with the warm Connecticut lobster roll. The rolls were served with a perfect amount of lobster and the coleslaw was delicious as well. The staff asked how everything was as we finished up and were kind and attentive. Would definitely return to try out another lobster roll!

This place has the best lobster roll in town! I grew up in Maine and worked at many Lobster Restaurants in Bar Harbor. The lobster is very fresh tasting. I ordered the Connecticut lobster roll. The prices are reasonable and the workers are very accommodating. If something is not right just ask and they will make it right!!

This just wasn’t for me due to the cost and presentation. Cold lobster sandwich was decent ($23) but the $ greasy tater tots that I can purchase at the frozen section grocery store, is a pass. If this came with real hand cut fries, Cole slaw, soup or something more upscale and included, then maybe. It’s a nice alternative to the regular franchises in area and I’m sure locals here will rally.

Mason’s Lobster Rolls is a small spot, and when I visited the ordering line was out the door. Seating is very limited, so it’s not the most comfortable place to stay and eat. I received my food within a reasonable amount of time, and while the lobster roll was good, it didn’t feel particularly special. Overall, I left satisfied but not wowed.

We are landlocked state, so we can expect so much from seafood joint; however, it is not bad considering it is sorta fastfood lobster roll joint…I enjoyed their roll & clam chowder soup (mostly potatoes & taste like it, but it was good ). My friend enjoyed their grilled cheese sando!

First time visiting. No wait. Staff was so helpful in explaining the menu. You have to know you’re gonna pay a bit for lobster or crab before you stop in. It was definitely a self treat. Can’t go every week. The roll was so delicious and buttery. The roll was perfect. Amount of lobster was adequate. Glad I stopped in.

Experience was a little underwhelming. Dinning area was small and crowed. I got the Bar Harbor Connecticut Roll. Main disappointment was it had very little if any butter, basically was just steamed lobster on a roll. Would suggest they give little cups of warm butter like they do at the Lobster Trap. For the price probably will not be back.

Such great food and equally friendly staff. The place was clean and the food is delicious. Take your seafood guy here and he’ll love it. My favorite is the Mac and cheese! But make sure you try the shrimp.

With so few restaurant options in Monument, we were so happy not to have to drive far to go out to eat. I see some negative reviews about price and quality so we decided to try it for ourselves.
The restaurant itself is simple but the food is very good. We had the lobster roll with butter and lemon and it did not disappoint. The lobster comes from Maine and taste very fresh and portion size of the lobster in my opinion was perfect. The lobster bisque was very good as well. Pricing is as expected. Especially for quality lobster coming from Maine. We will definitely be coming back again and again.
