I have eaten here twice, and I vomited both times. The fish is disgusting; it tastes like it was cooked in oil that hasn’t been changed in three weeks. You can taste the old pork and chicken grease soaked into the fish. It’s greasy, nasty, and dangerous. They are clearly cutting corners on basic hygiene and food safety. Save yourself the stomach flu and stay away

I bought this for a total of $40 which this by looking at it and the taste of it , it should’ve haven’t been this much to pay for. The fish didn’t had any flavor as seasoning on it plus it had some scams on it, it wasn’t peeled properly so it made it taste worse than it did, on top of that I don’t know why would they call this seafood mix on top, when the octopus didn’t taste like octopus at all, the seafood tasted frozen and the amount they put in the plate for the price charged wasn’t worth it needed, this was my first time ordering from here and it will be my last time,.

Ive had a couple different plates from this place and they are all very good. Only thing i don’t like is the rice but everything else is always fresh food. Typically spend between $50-$60 for two ppl.

I agree with other reviewers about the appetizers. We came here on an early Saturday evening around 4 pm and they were all out of most of the fried appetisers like acapurrias. Then the menu was confusing. I thought I was going to get the mofongo in addition to rice with my shrimp. It turns out it is a choice you have to make to choose either the mofongo or the rice. My shrimp was good though and deveined. The plating of the food is nice and looks clean. My husband said the background music was Latin Christian music so that kind of sounded irritating.

Overall a great restaurant with the bar. The food took over 45 minutes to come up but was fresh and delicious. A bit expensive considering the meal with the bottle of water and a $7 tip costed me almost $50. The bar itself could use remodelling. The staff was attentive and kind.

90% of the time I feel so amazed by the food and presentation of it, that I forget the pictures. Here are the few that I’ve taken, but give it a try. You’ll not be disappointed.
90% de las veces me distraigo tanto con lo rico de l comida y la presentación, que se me olvidan las fotos. Aquí están las pocas que he logrado tomar, pero dale la oportunidad! No te vas a arrepentir.

Went here for the first time, ordered pollo Al ajillo, when I was cutting into it, it felt uncooked, showed my girlfriend, she cutt a bigger piece of breast, it was uncooked. Told the waitress, she immediately went and told the kitchen, before even apologizing or asking what I wanted In replacement, NO manager (which was there) or owner (which was there) came and apologized for almost having me eat raw food, or asking if I wanted something different. Still paid for raw food and horrible service. Left the raw plate on my table for AWHILE before my server finally decided to get it away from my table. First and last time seeing me. ✌ ✌ DO BETTER MISSION MOFONGO
