Stopped by on our way to Paso robles from Joshua Natnl park. Location is kind of hidden behind a huge truck stop. You have to drive by the parked big rigs to reach to the other side where the food truck is.
We had to take a to go and orderd roti and Tadka daal. First I was surprised to see the rotis were priced at $1.50. But the size of rotis justified the price. They are huge and not so dainty. Tadka daal was ok, not so flavorful as I expected of a punjabi made food. Didnt have to wait much for the order. We ordered and went to use restroom at ampm nearby and it was ready when we came back.
All in all ok to stop if you really are hungry. Will not put it in a must try category.

We were traveling and made a pit stop at this place. There are other dhabas nearby as well but we came to this dhaba. Rice was smelling awful. It seemed like stale rice. We let them know and they then replaced it with fresh rice. Dal makhani was not dal makhni at all. No flavor nothing. It was just canned beans from a store and reheated and served. We usually go to dhabas for their dal makhni and tandoori roti. This place rotis were good and fresh. That’s the only thing we probably liked. Mango lassi was also store bought and very watery. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Came here for the mariscos food truck but only this restaurant was there this time. No biggie. Food was solid. Goat curry was a bit on the watery side but goat was very tender. Daal is food

I even talked to girl that your review are not good but still I want to try . What’s your best and make me good food . Order dal and goat 3 rotti . Man I think dal is the simplest dish . Nasty dall and goat was so so . Rotti was fine I can say . Around 30 dollar you get nothing. One can sit in decent restaurant and have decent food . My advice pls go around try taste upgrade your preparation if you want to stay in business

We ordered Samosa Chat, Pakora, Paratha, Aloo Gobi, Dal Makhni and Chai. Everything tasted great and also was freshly made. The Parathas were served with pickle and a generous amount of dahi. Overall really liked it, and would recommend for a quick rest stop.

The prantha.s very very spicy. I already told them few months ago. But I didn’t see any improvement. I asked to the ladies who made prantha. She said everyone need spicy prantha. That’s not make sence. No everyone doesn’t like spicy food. Finally i never go there in future.. Now my stomach is mesup. I ate only half prantha. I ordered 2 pranthas. Because that’s the second time happened with me. You have to look your business and customers requirements.

We were on a roadtrip and stopped in Lost Hills for gas and lunch. We were initially planning to eat at the Mexican food truck next to this place but they were closed. The food was fresh tasting and reasonably priced.

One of the tastiest authentic Punjabi food I have ever tried so far. Must try Sarso da saag with chole. And Dal tadka. Taste is next level. Love the food and people are so warm ✨

We were looking for a place to stop for Dinner and couldn’t have been happier. The food is very authentic and gives you the homemade feel. We ordered a few veggie dishes (Dal Makhani, Paneer Makhani and Dal Tadka with some paratha & roti) and taste/flavor profile was amazing. Definitely recommend on your drive to/from LA or Bakersfield Area.

We stopped here for gas and a quick bite, but I regret the decision. The service was extremely slow—it took over 25 minutes to serve us just chai, samosas, and paneer pakoda. To make matters worse, the food seemed reheated rather than freshly made.

As a chai lover, I found the tea disappointing—too sweet and watery for my taste. If you have ample time and no other options, you might give this place a try, but I wouldn’t visit again unless absolutely necessary
