Edit 11/26/24 – after two separate evenings since my initial review I have to update my score from 3 to 5. Maybe it was just an off night previously because the food quality and portions have been on point lately

The highlight is definitely the view. It’s an incredible spot to sit and enjoy a drink while the sun set. My wife and I hit up happy hour recently and concluded this is a great spot for a drink but we’ll pass on the food next time.
The shareable left a lot to be desired. The fries were very good but there were only a handful in the dish. For the price I expected a larger quantity. Our server was very friendly and was helpful in explaining the beer selection

This place is a MUST visit
I came with my brother and son. We decided to watch the sun go down on a Friday night and celebrate good grades.
My brother got a cider based out of Austin, Texas. Tasted a bit more like a sour. We ordered the cheese and grape plate. Not sure about the cheese – a hard white, we guessed it at a sharp cheddar, a slice of Gouda, and a blue cheese type of cheese. So delicious! My favorite dish. We also got the spinach dip and flatbread. I think the boy’s favorite was the Mediterranean flatbread. Red peppers, creamy dill sauce… Delicious. The great waitress sold us on it and she was right. Seriously good flavors.
Appetizers were about $14-$15/ea. The food was good. I thought it was worth it.
It’s the view that will keep me coming back here. Virginia is breathtaking in the spring and this restaurant displays it so well. We sat as close to the river as possible but frankly every seat in the house is beautiful. I took a video, it’s breathtaking and gives you an idea of the restaurant’s vibe.

The view is worth ten stars. We arrived at 6:15. With A few minutes left in happy hour. Our server did not greet us until 6:31. She was sweet but not a great waitress. We each had a drink and shared the cheese board. It was excellent. Expensive but good.

My friends and I decided to try this place out for our first Friendsgiving. We didn’t know our night would be cut short from the horrible service that we received. Two of us ordered the chicken salad and were very disappointed to see that we received a skimpy wedge salad. It did not state that it was a wedge salad on the menu. Not only was it the fact it was a wedge salad but the little bit of chicken that was given, was overcooked. We both asked to order something else. The manager JALEN refused to honor our request. When we informed him that we were not pleased with his decision to not allow us to place another order in place of what we ordered he asked if we wanted to speak to the owner. He then said he would call the owner down. We waited for about 30 minutes for the owner to arrive to be told that he decided against contacting him. He asked us what is the reason we did not want the salad. We informed him that we were not aware that it would be wedge salad and the portion. He then asked if we thought cutting up the salad would change the taste of it. He was extremely condescending. He even stated that it was in the policy that you cannot return food if you are dissatisfied with it. This was by far the worse dining experience I have ever had in a Lynchburg restaurant.

Great place to enjoy a cocktail and watch the sun set. I didn’t order food this time but the food being brought from the kitchen looked really tasty. Overall a beautiful ambiance to kick back and hang out with friends. It’s an open space with a good amount of seating but can get crowded. I enjoyed my night cap there!
The second visit was amazing! The cocktails are great. The food was really good just small portions. The sharable dishes are a light snack for two. Lots of flavor. This place is amazing for small bites and cocktails!

Great location! It’s pretty expensive for what you get. The servers were not that great, and a few of them acted unhappy to be there, and my group was not taken care of well. We never got our waters or napkins or silverware. The first thing we ordered was some fries thinking it could be an appetizer until we ordered our food, but the waitress forgot about it. After our meal we asked about the fries and finally we got them right before we left. We were still charged for them even though at that point we were ready to leave. Food and drinks are amazing but overpriced, so I’d eat something before coming.
