I rarely leave reviews, but I have to for Mary’s! My friend and I were exploring Hammonton’s many vintage and antique shops when we decided to stop for a bite to eat. Mary’s was charming from the second we walked in. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lovely! The food was excellent! Fresh and so tasty. I will be making the trip back down to bring my sister. Thank you for a great lunch!

Tried this lovely little spot for breakfast on a monday morning after a doctors visit. Got there around 10 and the place was pretty busy when we were leaving. I tried the broccoli rabe omelette. It was complete perfection! The broccoli was packed in and seasoned perfectly! The egg was also perfectly cooked. And those homefries! SO good! Service was pleasant. Cant wait to go try something else! Ordered two omelettes, a juice and a tea for about $40. Portions are very large!

“Welcome to Mary’s. You can have a seat anywhere.” Good morning, Melissa! First timer, out-of-towner, once removed. Loved the atmosphere as soon as my best friend and I walked in. Chose a round table mid-restaurant. Mary came to set the table, Melissa took our order. I enjoyed a pepper & cheese omlet, up-graded with a side of chicken cutlett for protien. Every part of this meal was spot on. From the potatoes to the peppers, very good flavor for breakfast. Like a taste bud wake up. Can’t comment on my buddies meal, cause this is all about me. It always has been.
I would definitely return to try more of this menu. If you’re ever in or near and need a great breakfast, “write this down”.

The wait staff was extremely rude. First no one acknowledged us when we came into the restaurant. When we eventually approached someone about a table this older woman looked at us and said, “What do you want?”, and”you can have it when I’m ready to clean it”.And if you’re celiac run from this place. Before sitting I asked the waitress if they had any gluten-free breads and she stared at me like I was crazy and said, “no we only serve good food”. I said,” well you know there are celiac people”, and she said “they shouldn’t eat out!” We left quickly. So disrespectful and mean. I’ve never encountered anything like that in my life.

I have enjoyed going every once in a while as I live relatively close to Mary’s. However, as of late I’ve had really bad experiences with getting my food in a timely manner. I work nearby so I tend to call ahead and pick up my food otw but it’s happened twice that I get told that the ticket for my food was lost when both time my order was taken by an older lady, who I’m assuming is Mary. The first time, I had called ahead so I’d not be late to work, and the second time I placed it in person to avoid the same thing happening. No complaints about the other girls. It’s a shame, because the food is good, the other waitresses are very kind, but the owner needs to retire or step it up and stop being so rude (both to the staff and customers), disinterested and dismissive of her clientele.

I love when I have happy little accidents. The only reason we were in this area was to meet up with my daughter and we stopped here for breakfast because it was the closest place. I was not expecting such a great meal. We chose to eat outside and love the small town atmosphere. It’s about an hour from my house but if I’m ever in that area again I’m definitely going back. FYI, I had the mushroom feta omelette and definitely get it with the tomato. The acidity in my opinion helps pull it all together. Also the picture depicts two omelets. We got the bacon, egg and cheese as well and we split them to try both

The first time I came here the service was amazing, the server that day was great, constantly made sure everything was ok, loved her. Today on the other hand, the server acted nice towards everyone else except us, pushed the plates at us and one of them she even left hanging off the table, didn’t come to check on us and when she did she had an attitude, at the end it was only me and she “forgot” about giving me back my card, terrible service and the food is average, there’s better places in town, therefore I won’t be going back there.

Charming, cheerful cafe
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. When I don’t cook a big breakfast on the weekend, it’s important that the one I get when I’m out is delicious.
Cozy cafe, with charming decoration and warmth.
I had counter service, hostess was attentive with order and coffee refills. Very good coffee.
I ordered poached eggs on rye with potatoes and a side of Italian sausage.
I really enjoyed the fresh cut potatoes, three poached eggs, nothing was over salted so you can add what you like and really taste the flavors.
Attention to detail both in decoration and food. Everything about the place, from decor to food to wait staff, even including the nicely decorated and clean bathroom, will make you want to be a regular customer.

I don’t know why I haven’t stop by this gem more often. I had the Mexican Mix Eggs, and it was wonderful. The space is neat snd clean, and run by a mother daughter team. The service was friendly, fast and efficient. This is the best place for Breakfast in Hammonton. Plenty of parking around the corner by railroad tracks. eNJoy

A diamond in downtown Hammonton. Usually my wife and I eat breakfast at the silver coin diner every Sunday. Well I’m happy to say this tradition has moved to this location. Their London Tower was devastatingly amazing. Poached egg, asparagus, London broil and a mushroom cheese “hollandaise” on an English muffin. It came with a side salad and a vinaigrette that complimented the savory creamy breakfast so well. Excellent! I’ve never had such a complex well paired meal. Price wasn’t out of control, it’s what I would pay for top quality cuisine and impeccable service. My wife got the short stack pancakes with a side of scrapple. She said they were a 5 out of 5 and scrapple was fired perfect. “Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, not salty”. Many things on the menu to try. Looking forward to next Sunday! Try the homemade meatballs, they are PERFECTION!!
