It’s been so long since I’ve paid $10 for a burrito that it just felt wrong when the girl rang me up. I tried the spicy chicken, the steak and the mild chicken before deciding to go with a regular sized, mild chicken burrito. I found the mild chicken to have the best flavor. The burrito itself wasn’t mind blowing but it was pretty good especially for the price. Mine was pretty simple: rice, mild chicken, cheese, sour cream, salsa and burrito sauce. Didn’t get much flavor from the burrito sauce but heres to hoping they keep their prices low and expand on the options of what you can put in your burrito.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and seated right away. The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and had a great vibe — perfect for both casual meals and date nights. The staff was super attentive without being overbearing, constantly checking in to make sure everything was perfect.
The food came out fresh and full of flavor. Every bite tasted homemade and seasoned just right. The portions were generous but not overwhelming, and the presentation showed they really take pride in their dishes. Even the drinks and sides were top-tier — everything felt thoughtfully prepared.
What stood out most was the consistency — not just good food, but genuine hospitality and attention to detail. It’s rare to find a place that nails both. stopped by the other day and honestly didn’t expect it to be this good. The place has a cozy vibe not too loud, just the right kind of atmosphere to actually enjoy your food.
I ordered and it was spot on. You can tell everything’s made fresh because the flavors actually hit different. The side/drink was also a nice surprise definitely recommend trying it if you go.
The staff was super friendly and checked in just enough without hovering. Prices were fair for the quality, and the portions were filling. I’ll definitely be coming back, maybe with friends next time.

first of all i just wanna start off by saying that,I had the best customer service i’ve had that young man with the glasses was very patient with me and was very nice. I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! It’s like Chipotle but even better — everything tastes incredibly fresh and flavorful. The ingredients were perfectly seasoned, and I loved being able to customize my bowl just the way I like it. The portions were generous, the staff was super friendly, and the restaurant was spotless and welcoming. You can really tell they care about quality and customer satisfaction. I’ll definitely be coming back — my new go-to spot for burritos and bowls!

I visited Barrio Burrito last Tuesday, and I just have to say the experience was wonderful! The two young ladies working there were so kind and caring. Their customer service was amazing they made me feel welcome and really took the time to make sure everything was perfect. The food was great too, but what stood out the most was how genuine and friendly the staff were. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Once a week I order lunch for myself and 9 of my employees around the milford/orange area. I understand it’s not easy for most businesses to complete an order of this size but we order in advance. Ordered at 11:35a, got to store for 12:35p and they just started to work on the order. Did not leave with food until 1:35p. Not only that, but multiple items we’re missing, employees acted annoyed that we we’re there with an order this size. Unfortunately will not be back.

Great Concept, but Customer Service and Order Accuracy Need Major Improvement
I recently visited Barrio Burrito Bar with high hopes, as the concept is fantastic, but my experience was incredibly frustrating from start to finish.
The issue began immediately upon walking in. I waited for several silent, awkward minutes for an employee to even acknowledge me and begin the process, which started with a lengthy, silent pause while they slowly put on gloves. The entire atmosphere felt poorly communicated and unwelcoming.
The main problem, however, was with the young woman who took my order. The simple task of building a burrito became a difficult and confrontational exchange. When specifying the portion size for one of the ingredients, she immediately argued with me, insisting the portion I requested was incorrect. Shockingly, even after her **co-worker intervened and corrected her on the standard portion size**, she continued to debate the issue with me.
This pattern of poor communication continued throughout the order. I had to repeat myself an astounding **four times, speaking louder each time,** to prevent her from adding items to my burrito that I explicitly did not ask for. It felt like a constant battle just to get the meal I wanted.
Unsurprisingly, despite the lengthy struggle, a part of my order was forgotten entirely.
Barrio Burrito Bar has a great product idea, but the service I received was bafflingly argumentative, inattentive, and ultimately inaccurate. The staff needs immediate retraining on basic customer interaction, order taking, and portioning standards. The experience of being argued with by an employee—who was then corrected by their own team member—is simply unacceptable. I sincerely hope management addresses these issues, as the current level of service detracts entirely from the food.
I wish this business success, but focus in on the experience. Upgraded another star because the queso and Tortilla chips are fresh. I look forward to visiting them in the future after they’ve had grand opening woes resolved, and updating the rating to reflect hopefully a better visit.
