Have been ordering meals from Local Foodz Cali for several years now. Great quality has been consistent since the l tried their mealfir the first time. Have been exercising for a long time now, and their healthy meals are an essential part of my fitness and wellness lifestyle. My experience customizing my meals on their website has been so easy and their suggestions to enhance nutritious ingredients are so insightful. I love LoCal Foodz because they really are local. Fresh food prepared in the Bay Area and delivered fresh, unlike all those other meal delivery companies. I always get the Signature Entrees or salads and I order a full menu every week – enough to eat every lunch and dinner for a week.
Every meal is fresh, flavorful and delicious. If I’ve ever had a problem – a missing topping or sauce, nothing major – or an idea, an email gets a quick response from the owner. Problems are fixed and ideas are welcomed.
I love this food and I’ll never go back to frozen, or those plastic-sealed, courier-shipped companies. Fresh and local is better.
Edited to add: I agree with another reviewer, I love no cooking, and the way ordering is set up, you can modify portion size and get just what you want. Can’t say better.

I’ve been ordering from LoCal Foodz for a few months now and its excellent. The food is the perfect balance of delicious and healthy. All of the meals I’ve had are packed well and reheat great. They offer a wide variety so the food never gets boring. The meals are priced well and affordable. The delivery service is super convenient and always great service. I’m so happy I found LoCal Foodz. Wow, love the food and the idea of clean food with tasty flavors. My favorite was Fiesta bowl with guacamole and shrimp and grits were fabulous as well. Definitely will order again, the delivery was in time as well. Great option if you are trying to lose weight, ordering lunch from here to the office was the easiest thing ever.

The true test of a company, business or service is when a mistake is made. These mistakes can be the greatest opportunities to create a customer for life. I have allergies, and they suck! No onions, No garlic, and No gluten. Yes I know…it’s not fun, but I have to manage. I reached out to LoCal Foodz Cali to chat with Sunny when I was first researching different meal prep services. We had a great call and talk on the phone and you could tell he really cared on the phone call. I decided to order my first order with them and placed my allergy specifications at the bottom Delivery note as there wasn’t another area to insert a custom note and the allergy button did not have Garlic & Onion as a choice (who would wish such an allergy on someone?!). I received my first delivery, and wow did it smell good!! But that was the issue, if it smells good, in my experience, it probably has onions or garlic haha. So I reached out and left Sunny a voicemail, and of course I was upset & frustrated. The promise he made on the first call that they could handle this type of request and I thought I had followed the instructions properly. I left that voicemail & sent him off an email right after smelling the garlic and onions around 9 pm…he called me immediately 15 minutes later. He was greatly apologetic and told me he would make it right first thing in the morning. They owned up to the mistake, let me keep the food, which I gave to my gf, and brought my new food the next day at no cost. Since then I have made a few orders and each one has been perfect! The measurement aspect is also amazing as I can only eat smaller portions of food per meal which is another story for another time. Sunny is extremely nice and the food is perfect. Thanks LoCal Foodz!
