Today I stopped by for the first time…two young gentleman working. Both friendly and authentic. My mocha definitely rated well above your typical, great flavor and depth. Of late, at my favorite local coffee shops in the area they’ve been subpar…so this was a really nice surprise.

I visited THE WHITE SHEPHERD at TOLLGATE recently and was looking forward to trying something new. As I looked over the menu, I took a bit of time to decide and added a few customizations to my order — nothing out of the ordinary, just small changes to make the drink right for me.
While I was making my choices, the owner approached me and mentioned that I had been changing things around a lot. I understand that things can get busy, but as a customer, I believe it’s fairly normal to want to personalize an order — especially with coffee.
The space itself is nice and the menu has some great options. I just left feeling a little uncomfortable from the interaction, which took away from the overall experience. Hopefully, this was just a one-off moment.
I also wanted to mention that the young lady that took my orders was very pleasant!

White Shepard Coffee is worth a stop. When you walk in the atmosphere is warm and inviting. You immediately see a stunning American flag mural. It makes you proud to be an American all over again. Their logo is fantastic, so cute. The grin on the White Shepard makes me smile 🙂 The staff is incredible! So friendly, kind, every employee had a smile. Their menu has such a variety for everyone. Their coffee is very tasty and their espresso tastes like what you get in the UK, ! Their food menu is equally impressive and their pastries ! I can’t wait to go back. So happy you’re in the neighborhood. & for providing such a welcoming establishment.

New coffee shop in the Tollgate area. Excellent coffee. Food items are good. They have a protein bowl that is low in carbs and calories. I like it. They have gluten-free items to choose from as well as others pastries. A very nice coffee shop. I like it a lot and highly recommend it. Customer Service is excellent.

This is a real american establishment, with dark roast coffee, a variety of syrups, breakfast sandwiches, and an American flag mural to boot!
The 911 breakfast sandwich is huge and awesome. Definitely my favorite in the area!
The vibe is great, with a good amount of Indoor and outdoor seating.
