Truly stunning breakfast; duck confit hash with poached eggs. Exceptional food at a very reasonable price, with friendly service in a French/American restaurant. Highly recommended.

Loved this little nook in SoHo, which offers elevated diner fare with a Southern and French-inspired edge. Counter and table seating, though be prepared to wait a bit if you show up during the lunch rush. Great assortment of casual dishes, sandwiches, sides. It was mostly comfort foods. A fun place to catch up with a friend, to go on a casual date, or even eat alone. Delicious food that will get your hands a bit messy. They do burgers and shakes, but also soup, salad, escargot, and hanger steak. A little something for everyone, even if they aren’t super hungry.

I liked the menu options a lot, a good variety of diner food w/ some French inspired dishes. Our waiter was funny and really nice lol. Place is kinda small, but we didn’t have to wait at all even though it’s a no res spot. They gave us a small ice cream and whipped cream dessert for new years Overall, I had higher expectations for the food based on the price points so was a little disappointed
– French onion soup ($19): 7/10, I LOVE French onion soup, but the broth wasn’t as flavorful or onion-y as I would’ve liked. Was pretty excited about this but disappointed. It was filled to the brim, which is great in theory, but it was lowkey hard to start eating it without it spilling over
– Patty melt ($21): 8/20, pretty solid, but lowkey reminds me of the melt from Waffle House lol
– Fries: 7/10, standard
– Complimentary ice cream w/ whipped cream: 7/10, standard ice cream, but it was nice that it was free
*Note: Wanna try their escargot and steak next time

love this spot! what’s better than fresh and really well-prepared luncheonette food with a retro vibe … and wine! at least that’s what we went with. as first timers we went halvsies on the crispy chicken sandwich and the patty melt, and shared the sweet potato fries. no misses, everything was best-in-class! we sat at the counter and had a great time chatting up out server and watching “paternity court” on the telly . what a fantastic weekday break from shopping.

Had dinner here and it was very tasty. The establishment interior is a small refined diner. Four booth seats bar top and two stand alone tables. The booth seating was plush and comfortable to fit up to four diners. One waitress and bartender on duty, with a small kitchen. We were sat and waited on fast, but food took sometime as the place filled up fast after. We ordered the steak and the wedge salad and fries. Took roughly 25-30 minutes for the food to come out. The Steak portion was tiny, not diner sized but to be expected for the area. The meat was tender and well seasoned the potatoes were soft and complemented the dish. The wedge salad was cheesy and well seasoned.

Beautiful beautiful interiors, you can tell from the customers coming in during your dining that theyre locals and returning customers because the staff always greets them like a visiting friend- really nice atmosphere.
The food was really good, minimal options but the food served was nice, and well plated.
We were told that the booth was for larger groups (we were 2 persons) so we were seated at the bar, but then they let these other couple sit at the booths… hmm, interesting

Cozy diner atmosphere with more refined offerings. Patty melt was indulgent and very filling. Egg cream was tasty although i wish it wasn’t so expensive. Good vibes over here as well.

We originally popped in just for a drink to warm up, as it was around –18°C outside and our hands had completely frozen while walking past. Once we’d sat down, we decided to order a couple of small dishes to share, as we were eating out later and didn’t want anything too heavy. We chose the pastrami on rye and a portion of crinkle-cut fries.
From the moment we arrived, the gentleman working there was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I ordered a Guinness, and he kindly brought over a couple of red wines for my fiancée to taste so she could choose one she liked.
The food was exceptional. The crinkle-cut fries honestly looked like standard oven chips, so my expectations were fairly low, but they were a real surprise – beautifully soft in the middle, crisp on the outside, with a subtle garlicky flavour that made them absolutely moreish. The pastrami on rye was just as impressive and ended up being one of the best things I ate in New York: incredibly juicy, rich, and full of flavour.
The waiter – who may well have been the owner or manager – even topped up my Guinness and my fiancée’s wine and didn’t charge us for the refills, saying they were on the house. It was a genuinely lovely and unexpected gesture.
We’re already planning a return trip to New York, and this place will be top of our list to visit again.

This small inviting diner has great classic dishes, deserts and service with a price that makes it the best value in the area. It has an eclectic feel with both a bar and table service area. A single outdoor table for two is great for “people watching” if thats your thing. Alcohol is available.

What a lovely place! Went there for brunch. Amazing food, perfectly crispy chicken sandwich and cod sandwich, excellent crinkle cut fries, perfect portion size as well. The ginger lemon soda was really nice. Will try the ice cream next time. Also loved the special cake from Losers that they served! Good music, charming decor, and a great vibe.
Thank you for a wonderful time, will be back again!
