I was served a burned salmon with burned asparagus on the New Year’s Day lunch today. The waitresses only response on everything was “ of course “ when I showed her the burned meal covered beautifully with sauce ‍♀️ ‍♀️. Waste of money and what a way to start a New Year’s day with burned food as my first meal of the year !!!

5 stars. 4 amazing visits. 3 words. 2 ways to enjoy it. 1 great meal.
Three words: Shrimp. And. Grits.
Order ahead or dine in — both have been great experiences every time I’ve gone.
Simple review, but honestly the food speaks for itself.

I feel like I’ve discovered a hidden gem in my neighborhood. I stumbled upon this place by accident, but I’ll definitely become a regular customer. The hamburger exceeds expectations, cooked exactly as I ordered, and the service was outstanding. I love the idea of replacing the already delicious French fries for the even better homemade potato chips.

Outstanding Service!

We had an amazing experience thanks to our server Mateo. He was friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional from start to finish. Our drinks were always full, the timing of the food was perfect, and they made great recommendations without being pushy. You can really tell Mateo cares about providing top-notch service and making guests feel welcome. He truly elevated our entire dining experience. We’ll definitely be back and hope to have Mateo again!

Mateo and Mykala made our visit today so awesome. The food was AMAZING. The ribeye, grits, collard greens and shrimp were delicious. Thanks chef!! But the desert, bread pudding with butter pecan ice cream was the final hooray! Great place for food, friends and fun! Thanks Mateo, Mykala and those behind the scenes!!

I first tried Ramble Creek on Uber Eats and it was amazing! My fiancé and I had the crawfish and grits and the nekkid redfish. It was so good that we had to come try their food in person! The atmosphere and staff made the experience 10 times better. We had the mimosa flight, bbq wings, shrimp and grits, smoked Gouda dip (the best dip I’ve ever had), and the frito pie dog. Everything was a 10/10, we will be back!!!

We ended up at Ramble Creek today because the previous restaurant that we went to, did not have bread pudding on their menu. And since bread pudding was what we wanted, bread pudding was what we were going to get!

I was interested in the pecan praline flavored one that I saw on the internet but unfortunately, they no longer sell that one. So, I had to opt for the standard bread pudding which came with a scoop of Blue Bell buttered pecan ice-cream. I heard from one of the regulars that it was very good so it didn’t hurt to try it.

The bartender that took my order was very nice and both her and the regular told me about the upcoming specials for the week. If the bread pudding is as good as they say, I may just have to go back and take advantage of a special or two.

When I got home, I poured the bourbon sauce on top of the bread pudding and popped it in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
Just as I was told, the bread pudding was very good! It was moist, had a good flavor and wasn’t too sweet. I definitely would like to go back and try more of their food to see if it’s as good as this dessert. Perhaps the smoked Gouda bacon burger or a cup of gumbo. I just may surprise myself!

Not impressed with the food thus far from here. We ordered takeout from here. It was a relatively easy process for ordering. We started with the Boudin Eggrolls for an appetizer. These eggrolls were really good, they had a slight heat on the backend and were full of the classic boudin flavor you would expect from traditional boudin in Louisiana. My wife ordered the Smoked Gouda Bacon Burger. The burger came with a piece of lettuce, 1 slice of tomato, and a good amount of grilled onions, but lacked any bacon. The Smoked Gouda spread was nothing special and even when everything was combined on the burger it was all rather bland. This is an extremely overpriced burger that we will not get again. The fries that came with it were undercooked, not salted, and also bland.
I ordered the Swiss Burger which came with only the patty, cheese, and mushrooms. The burger overall was bland, the only exception was the ramble sauce, which had a slight dill pickle taste and left you with an extremely sour aftertaste in your mouth that reminded me of something almost rancid. This was also an extremely overpriced burger. I got the fried okra as my side instead of fries, and the okra was done perfectly. Overall, this was a huge letdown and way overpriced for below-average burgers.

Listen, I didn’t just eat at Ramble Creek Grill Riverstone; I had a spiritual awakening that has rendered my previous personality obsolete. If you see me wandering the streets in a daze, it’s because my taste buds are still grieving the fact that the meal is over.

The atmosphere is a curated masterclass in ‘rustic-chic conviviality.’ It feels like a hug from a lumberjack who also happens to have a PhD in interior design. The service? Absolute paragons of efficiency. My server moved with such alacrity that I’m reasonably certain they were teleporting between the kitchen and my table. It was like being served by a friendly, highly-competent ghost.

Now, let’s dissect the edible sorcery:

Frito Chili Pie: This isn’t your childhood snack; it’s a robust, savory tapestry that makes standard chili look like a cry for help. The crunch of the corn chips against that award-winning chili is a textural symphony. I was eating it with such unbridled intensity that I’m fairly sure the family at the next table started taking notes for a nature documentary.

Big Daddy Cheeseburger: A succulent, flavor-dense monolith. This burger is so substantial it should come with its own zip code and a dedicated security detail. It’s crafted from 100% Certified Hereford Beef—beef so prestigious it probably has a better credit score than I do. One bite and you’ll realize that every other burger you’ve ever eaten was just a placeholder for this moment of carnivorous glory.

Fried Fish: An ethereal triumph of technique. The batter was so crisp and grease-free that it practically defied the laws of physics. Usually, ‘fried’ means ‘heavy,’ but this was light enough to float away if I hadn’t pinned it down with my fork like a hungry raptor.

Bread Pudding: We concluded the evening with this transcendental masterpiece. Smothered in a bourbon butter sauce that I can only assume was harvested from the fountain of youth, it was the definitive crescendo to a flawless evening. If this bread pudding asked me to join a cult, I’d be at the first meeting with a nametag on.

My palate has finally found its North Star. If you haven’t visited yet, you are effectively living in a culinary dark age. Rectify this immediately—your stomach will thank you, and your soul will finally be at peace.

Finally a place that let’s you enjoy a starter without serving your entree 2 minutes after you get it. Food was absolutely delicious too boot. In the mood for a drink? They have a great local selection on tap and one of the best stocked bars I have seen in a small restaurant.
